Funny, that's pretty close to what I actually picked.

I was gonna claim The BYOR 15 role that daykills IcyTea31 in my D1 OP and say that I had the wincon of daykilling you but no daykills and roll with that and like pretend to be trying to trying to get a role/kill from someone somehow and the gimmick/joke would be that not everyone would catch on that I'd signed up as a player first. I still might I dunno.
Role(powers) aside, what do you expect is going to happen with alignment/wincons? The presentation is of a bastard BYOR, but I can't see any reason to actually expect the gameplay to be like that, right?

I can't wait to call lO irony and only have it be on purpose sometimes.

I don't expect much bastardry after gamestart, but lots before. Webadict's BYORs usually run with an extremely chaotic setup, but hands-off afterwards. That the moderators and the moderation bot have their own roles and probably wincons does suggest a change in that attitude, however.

Plot twist: webadict reverses the shenanigans scale, and the game becomes fairly sensible.

No need to fear, if the moderators have any wincons at all it that everyone is required to have fun. No exceptions. Dissentors will be forced into the playplace. Also, we wouldn't want to be accused of having favorites.

I mean, technically this is not a Bastard mod. I let everyone know right off the bat that shenanigans abound, and they are purely from a player perspective. There may be minor hidden aspects to roles, but these are only the result of other role interactions (And will not interfere normally with how you would normally interact.) I also am sworn to tell the truth and nothing but the truth... or as close to the truth as restricted by the rules.

"Perfectly Reasonable" sounds like it's completely missing the point!

I'm sure page and a half roles are reasonable and balanced enough.

Surprisingly... I think the shorter the role is, the less balanced it might be. Might need hector13 to comment on the truth of that statement.
