(Note. Time will progress once all players have chosen a Mission, that is an action that will take a long time to be realized in game. No need to feel pressured, these will come to you naturally.)

It that Oozes
It that Oozes considered the circumstances, and learned that the limits on its comfortable hivemind connection was about the range of one region. In order to run a hive-empire that spans multiple regions the issue of logistics would need to be resolved.

It that Oozes pondered a couple of solutions for this, and determined that the following things would need to be attained before it could establish in a second region in a way that satisfied it:

- A "Slime Commander" class slime which was capable of maintaining cohesion of slimes in a region. A unit of multiple lesser commanders would also be acceptable. This would allow a region to act as a "Slime Hivemind Minor Node".
- A "Slime Relay" group of slimes that could handle near-instantaneous communication between It that Oozes and the aforementioned Commanders. While it would require an impractical amount of processing power to control multiple regions as per usual, it should be quite possible to send general orders and news to the Commanders alone, then have the Commanders relay that information among the ordinary slimes as a mini-hivemind.
- While not immediately necessary, some manner of Security would eventually require consideration to prevent information sabotage from hostile entities.

For now, It that Oozes would recall the scouting parties to the swampland. It knew that the swampland was able to support a Legion's worth of slimes on account of the fact that it had for a long time already.

Of course, the Slime Commander wouldn't be able to work unless it was capable of thinking in its own right. It that Oozes decided that this is okay. Handling disagreements with other slime colonies would surely be preferable to handling disagreements with the races that don't hold slime in any kind regard. Fortunately It that Oozes already had a functioning prototype: Itself! It should just be a matter of mitosis, replicating its current status... And internalizing that if it turns out to be the smaller version of itself then it would understand that it has a new lesser role intended for itself in order to avert any arguments about who is and is not the true It that Oozes. Its the big one that the small one split off from.

Mission: Prepare the logistics necessary to expand the hivemind across multiple regions!

"I suppose so. It seems that I will need to become reacquainted with my new limits. Thank you for your time Queen Shikalki. By your leave."

Go explore the local area of the Mirage Valley. It becomes obvious that this era is not conductive to my old methods of Doing.

Azarian welcomes the ogres into his force, pleased to have capable fighters to help him protect his scouts. His work was about to begin again, and what he had heard of the Ergant Forests was mostly rumors, which was not acceptable for someone of knowledge like himself.

Azarian would take a moment to gather supplies for his forces, and would then start an expidition to the Ergant forests to gather real information about the land there. There was scouting and exploration to be done!

With the herd leaders having pledged their allegiance to the King, Eversor motions with his arm towards the Silverhorn Bartoros he'd just introduced.

"Your Majesty, while it is merely my suggestion, I believe that Zadan-Yoof would be a worthy steward over the Bartoros. He is both the strongest and wisest of his kind that I have met during my expedition."

After the Bartoros have left
Eversor continued genuflecting before his liege, wishing to learn if there is anything King Radeus would like to be done by him.

"Your Majesty, what is your bidding? Shall I set out to expand our borders further?"

He laments the lacking economic knowledge of the Zetheans, but knows that it can be built up from there. His first order of business is planning out a road network, along with securimg the resources and manpower needed for it's construction, to connect Tartarus and the surrounding, newly pacified, lands, both to secure and speed up military and civilian travel within the borders of a Kingdom. If trade is the lifeblood of a kingdom, and military might it's immune system, then roads are the veins which are needed for both to be effective for the entire body.

Side-Turn 0.2: Opportunities

Eversor

Once the Bartoros had been escorted outside of the throne room, you were left with the King and several of your fellow high servants of Zethe. With his golden gaze resting on you, Radeus announced with a commanding tone.

"Lord Eversor. Your achievements and loyalty honour us all, and thanks to your efforts the Latze Plains have been peacefully brought under Zethe's light. My word is as follow: pursue the expansion of our borders so that the light of Zethe may shine farther, pushing back the virtuous malediction."

He concluded his sentence with a gripping motion as a sign of determination, and added.
"Yours and Azarian efforts have allowed us to confirm one of the powers of the Tear. The greater the influence of Zethe, the stronger the Tear's aura become, as if exhorting us to conquer more land. Lastly, while your efforts cannot be immediately rewarded, know that your deeds will not be forgotten."

Radeus relaxed his gripped hand, and Endovar moved forward as if receiving a hidden order. He spoke with a deep and calm tone, as always.
"Such is the will of our King of Zethe. Lord Eversor, our friend and companion, pursue the mission given to you by the King! However you need not bear the burden of such a task alone. Do not hesitate to ask for aid if need be, your fellow will be glad to assist in any way they can."

[Opportunity: Esl and Arp]

The Captain of the Tartarian Guard, Aspath, raised her hand. An ancient animated armor of the ruins of Tartarus, whose luster and gilded patterns held some noble aura, she was the strongest and noblest of the Tartarian Guards.
"Lord Endovar, may I? There is a matter I would like to discuss with Lord Eversor."

Endovar respectfully bowed and took a step back. Aspath thanked the king's aide, and turned toward you.
"It concerns your subordinates and kins of mine, the Forgotten Guards, and especially the ones known as Esl and Arp. I am grateful of your care of them, and I know how highly they all hold you in their esteem. There is a peculiar matter pertaining to our origins I need solved, and for that I require the entirety of the Tartarians. I know not how long, but I swear they will be returned to you in due time."

Leave your Forgotten Guard squad to Aspath, including the twin elites Esl and Arp?

Azarian

[Opportunity: A potential grain deal?]

While you were gathering supplies for your next expedition, an insectoid farmer came to you. He asked if you would be willing to experiment a new type of grain instead of the usual grain used for supplies. The new grain, as he explained, was obtained from a ball-shaped cereal hose performance under different climates they did not know.

Ashuri-Zagos

[Opportunity: The Singing Ogre]

While patrolling the streets, you heard a voice that pulled at your artistic string. This tenor! This potential! Whoever had that voice had a great potential as a singer! It was coming from an Ogre warrior from a tribe that had just been brought under Zethe by Lord Azarian. He was along with his tribe mates working on a construction site, will you intervene or leave them to their own?

It that Oozes

[Opportunity: Encounter at the Breeding Pool]

Indeed Slimes were able to split into two new Slimes outside of their reproduction period which you had long passed as a major node. The process was extremely energy taxing, and would render you unable to do much for a while. Before doing so, you went to the Breeding Pool of the swamp maybe to find some inspiration before splitting. You were yourself born from this pool of goo, and most slimes of the swamp were born from it.

A handful of slimes stumbled upon you, young ones with goo as fresh as the morning dew, and with a spark of potential most slimes didn't possess. Hmm... you could try splitting yourself, but maybe you could also try helping these slimes differentiate into desired slimes?

Aeon

[Opportunity: A Djinn's Advice]

Before you left to explore the Mirage Valley, an old djinn shared a tale with you. "There is a pool of pale orange water at the northern edge of our lands, just outside of the valley, surrounded by dead white palm trees without leaves. Avoid this place if you intend to explore the northern part of the valley. It is a cursed place where an evil spirit of carnage was sealed by the Virtuous Races a long time ago."

Nevermore

"I will meet all your expectations and then some, Dragon King and my results will exceed them. Now, Patron Jotul, to begin my preparation I will need you to fly me to the Boneyard where I will initiate the conscription of new forces to the Kingdom."

Nevermore goes to Jotul and requests that he sends itself toward the Dragon Graveyard, in which Nevermore will begin his base of operations here and also talking to him during the flight of the closest "settlements" of giants from Gerus are, looking to find a good hideout or lair near the Graveyard and than researching through his tome and magical experimentation on the fallen dragons that rest here, utilizing Awaken the Fallen to make more permanent conscripts for the future and having them initially serve as manual labor

Nevermore

The black dragon Jotul carried you to the Dragon Graveyard, where lied the remnants of Dragons of lower stature. During the short trip, he told you of the closest Giant settlement.

"Similarly to us Dragons, the Giants live in a single concentrated "settlement". Their frozen home lies beyond the greater rift, which separates our two domains. Rarely a few outcasts will live in the neighboring lands, outside of Gerus, but these are a rare bunch."

[Opportunity: Experimenting on fallen dragons]

During your research, you will eventually encounter two categories of dragon skeletons. First, skeletons of dragons imbued with traces of magic indicating they possessed magic potential in their prime. Secondly, skeletons of dragons devoid of magic. You suspect the first kind will be harder to raise and much more energy hungry, while the second kind should be easier to raise and less energy hungry though likely weaker. How will you tackle this issue?

[OoC question, do they actually know anything about me?]

Take the Opportunity to go investigate. It would be interesting to see who was sealed there.

Eversor nodded at Aspath's request.

"Although it pains me to part with such excellent warriors, I understand. Arp, Esl, and the others were originally under your command, in the end."

Eversor will relinquish command over the Forgotten Guards in his employ. Unless there is anything else, he'd begin recruiting other undead to temporarily replace them.

Azarian would be curious about this replacement foodstuff, and agree to test it by having roughly half a week's grain ration replaced with it. If no ill effects were observed, then he would return to the farmer with a request for more.

Ashuri-Zagos approaches the Ogre, offering further musical training and, if the Ogre is interested, possible patronage as a public performer. Musicians would certainly be fine and effective way to begin developing some artistic traditions amongst the Zetheans.
