Was watching a FirstPost news cast and put an image below....

China's response to the new Taiwan president was to have naval drills around Taiwan... What does this do to commercial and private traffic?

There is something to be said about, if the stakes are as high, maybe reconsider your certitudes. One has to be aggressively allistic to feel entitled to be able to trust. But it won't happen to me, my bit doesn't count etc etc... Just saying, after my recent experiences I couldn't trust the public if I wanted to. People got their risk assessment neurons rotten and replaced with game theory. Folks walk around like fat turkeys taunting the world to slaughter them.

In my opinion, it is just a show which fills in the few political achievements of the mainland Chinese government, and its political significance is greater than its military significance. It briefly diverted people's attention from the economic downstage .  The chance of receipting Taiwan is still very low, maybe it would occur before president Xi , but who knows , after the war between Ukraine and Russia, there might exist some other countries which will obstruct unification. People will be miserable , both Taiwan and the mainland.

Coincidentally, during the military exercise, I can’t open the Bing search engine. But it is said that it’s the fault of Bing, not the Firewall.

I think this reddit social media post gives a good overview on answering the question of the status of American Indian Genocide. It contains many interesting quotations and links for further reading.
One such quote was information regarding Polish international criminal law scholar Rafał Lemkin’s thoughts on the matter:
Lemkin applied the term to a wide range of cases including many involving European colonial projects in Africa, New Zealand, Australia, and the Americas. A recent investigation of an unfinished manuscript for a global history of genocide Lemkin was writing in the late 1940s and early 1950s reveals an expansive view of what Lemkin termed a “Spanish colonial genocide.”

This other reddit post does well in explaining genocide denialism and its produced mythology. It appears that isolating disease as a pure vehicle of death without context is one form of denialism.
The impacts of the diseases would likely been mitigated if the populations suffering from these epidemics were not under pressure from other external and environmental factors. Many communities that encountered these same diseases, when settler involvement was minimal, rebounded in their population numbers just like any other group would have done given more favorable conditions.
