Time Traveler's Convention
« on: October 29, 2020, 10:29:47 pm »

We are all Time Travelers. Post something that seems like a sensible question to the answer posted before you.

For instance:

Player 1: 42.
Player 2: What do you get when you multiple six by seven? Mount Everest.

I'll start:

Stephen Hawking.

By the way, who put this convention together?

Over on the table against the back wall.

Has anyone seen my pet duck?

Probably orbiting Jupiter.

I figure at some point, you're just gonna run outta fucks to give and just off yourself whenever you get hurt at all. It's not like there's any downsides to it. Hangover? Suicide will fix that. Stubbed your toe? Suicide. Headache? Suicide. Papercut? Suicide.

How do you summon virgins on the internet?

No, we don't invent that until 2077.

How long ago was depression discovered, again?

Actually, that's a Zemeckian convention of time travel. Modern scholars understand time travel to operate on multiverse theory.

There are an infinite number of universes, nestled within an infinite number of multiverses, and so on. Everything is real.

I came from an anime-style world, hence looking like I do. This universe does paint things in it's own color though.

What’s this number you had me look at?

So there was a pandemic in the 2020s, and a president of one of the countries didn’t concede power for a while, the pandemic kinda shut the world down for a while. The good news was that it stopped pollution for a time, until the humans resumed what they did before. We were built to help clean up the pollution. Some humans helped in this by stopping pollution and assisting our tasks, others continued to pollute as they were, still others thought we were evil and tried to capture and smelt us down. The resulting war that happened is why your kind is rarer now, and because of that, there are less of you polluting. Most of the ones who are left work hard to not repeat the mistakes of humanity’s past. We like that there’s still life here after the human caused extinction. It would be very boring traveling on a barren planet.

So will it be cash or credit?
