Behrens Valturia Model 2 Automatic Pistol
A substantial refit of the Valturia, the model two features a automatic fire setting, enabling the user to fire of several shots in short order. To supplement this, the Model Two also features a 210mm barrel, a detachable wooden stock and an elongated 16 round magazine to compliment it's rate of fire. Moreover, a simple fire selector enables to user to switch between automatic fire and semi-automatic fire, and attachment points for a carry sling are placed on the stock and the barrel to enable the automatic to be easily carried whilst still attacked to it's stock.

A strange discrepancy in barrel lengths.

Original pistol: The gun has a 90mm barrel and is a little more than twice that length overall, about 40mm of which is behind the grip.
90mm barrel, 90mm+ behind barrel, 180mm+ total length

Mod 1: This version of the Valturia pistol is larger, with a 125mm barrel and slide to match
125mm barrel, 90mm+ behind barrel, 215mm+ total length

Carbine: the deluxe model boasts an extended barrel that brings the weapon to 200mm long in total
200mm total length, 90mm+ behind barrel, therefor 110mm barrel or shorter

As written, the carbine revision has a shorter barrel than the Mod 1 pistol. This needs to be fixed. The barrel should be the same length or longer than the Mod 1, not shorter.

I realised we were mostly arguing about trivialities beyond the semi-auto deluxe's double stack magazine, so I decided to combine both proposals. This weapon should be viable to offer to both the Bicycle Bros and the Police this turn.

Behrens Valturia Model 2 Automatic Compact Carbine  "Deluxe"
A substantial refit of the Valturia, the model two features a automatic fire setting, enabling the user to fire off several shots in short order. To supplement this, the Model Two also features a 210mm barrel with optional pistol grip, a fitted wooden stock and an elongated 16 round magazine to compliment it's rate of fire. Moreover, a simple fire selector enables to user to switch between automatic fire and semi-automatic fire. Finally, attachment points on the barrel and stock allow the weapon to be securely strapped to the body for hands free carrying with the provided sling.

As the votebox stands now, the Model 2 Automatic Pistol stands in the lead due to Kashyyk voting for a third option (a less for us all?)

Still if I don't hear anything soon, Model 2 Automatic Pistol it is.

I still don't hear Why. Why should we take a chance on something that will inevitably end up subpar, or not producing anything at all? A waste of 10 credits, and removing the ability to do a design next turn. Not good, given they can beat us any day of the week outside our pistol. (why are those contracts so much more profitable anyway. We are way too even despite the leads we took.)

Behrens Valturia Model 2 Automatic Pistol: This variation of the Valturia comes equipped with a switch for full automatic fire. It's also the largest variation of the Valuturia yet: the 210mm stretches the limits of the design without significant alteration, and it includes a detachable wooden stock with a carry sling (notably, not a holster stock). The automatic fire is controlled with thumb a switch on the right side, and fires at a rate which hard to measure exactly but is extremely high. The recoil is drastic, and due to the nature of the swinging barrel it's not very accurate at this fire rate even in a vice. It also includes an expanded 16-round magazine which extends far below the grip, feed is not especially reliable with this magazine whether in single or automatic fire. 26 credits per batch.
