More grass types per tile

As far as I can tell there can only be one type of grass per tile, and according to the wiki: "there are at most 4 bunches of grass per tile... There is currently no known way of determining how many of the maximum of 4 bunches of grass are present in any one tile."

If we could have have multiple grasses take up the available space of 4 bunches per tile then we could make grasslands blend into each other more naturally. Then we could use a similar process that is being used for displaying contaminants on weapons for displaying grasses, where the different grasses could co-exist on a tile and blend together giving less of the grid look that we see in a lot of the sample images of grass now.

Maybe it wouldn't work, but it might be worth trying.
