Ennemies are at the gates ! Attack dwarves ! Attack !!
I send our ten strongest Applets against the first wave. Thanksfully, they are in the 7th level warriors now. Thanksfully again, I built a tiny wall-gate to choke their archers.
Wooo...
Look at all this blood ! First wave works like a charm ! But Look at that in the North West !
That's a lot of Trolls !!Only recruits though, our Applets are well equiped in iron/steel. They make quick work of them.
We are victorious without immediate casualties. Our hospital is half running (we have Soap, but are missing plaster). They should be fine.
But this will be a lot of corpses to get rid of...
It will be a problem to dump all the dead bodies. Our Applets morale will take a hit.
-
Autumn kicks in. Weapons production are going well. But bones are getting scarse. I order the puppies, the alpacas, the donkeys butchered for more bones. We need more crossbows.
- The aftermath of our 2 back-to-back siege is a lot of Applets are dumping corpses, and their poor mind doesn't handle it well.
Some are starting to break already...
I order shiny bedrooms built. I also improove the dining halls, make proper workshops, temples, and graveyard.
- At some point in the year, we are granted the
Barony title ! Yay !
- Deep down below, our magma pool is eating the water pools. We are making obsidian sword as much as possible !
But the cavern's lake is starting to dry out. I'm afraid we won't have enough water for the year.
These lake was all 7/7. Now it's only 1s or 2s... Refilling the water pool takes a while, and evaporation starts to be bothersome...
Winter is there.
- Despite
my total careless-ness their removal from dumping duty, several Applets are unhappy. I attempt to save one or two of them. But, Obsidian is near, and weapons are being made swiftly, so... This is not much of my concern anymore
- Hoo, remember the cave-lake evaporating ? Well the aqueducts leading to the water pool are dry as well. And they link the fort to the caverns... Better be aware of that I think...
- A troll Corpse used the dried aqueduct to pay the military a visit...
And there we have it ! For the sanity of our beloved OP, I made these beautiful stockpiles
Each one represents one type of weapon (so 7 piles), the last one represents the remaining weapons.
But some weapons that should be counted are probably not in these piles (eg: weapons in military), so these stockpiles are actually worthless...
