they will likely spend the next four years debating whether it's good that they competed well,
or bad that they will be known as the only nation not to win a bronze medal!

Gah, how do I keep rolling poorly? It's a good thing I had so much AP to throw at the problem.

Would've been embarrassing if I didn't win, considering. Mightymushroom did well to almost steal the win despite my advantage.

Within hours after the results come out, a series of anonymous broadsides begin circulating, demanding an immediate investigation of the Continental Games for alleged racist anti-horse bias. The Aurumian delegation officially denounces these accusations and graciously accepts third place.

The political landscape has changed a little, and the Olympic Commitee is now reviewing the team rosters sent by the Nations of the World...

Rich means the Country starts with 50 Athlete Points.
Moderate means the Country starts with 40 Athlete Points (up from previous 35).
Poor means the Country starts with 30 Athlete Points (up from previous 25).

Coastal means the Country gets +2 to Competition Rolls in Aquatic disciplines.
Industrial means the Country gets +2 to Competition Rolls in Automobile disciplines (new!).
Mountainous means the Country gets +2 to Competition Rolls in Strongman disciplines.
Plains means the Country gets +2 to Competition Rolls in Athletic disciplines.
Equestrian means the Country gets +2 to Competition Rolls in Equestrian disciplines.

Each 'turn' a new Competition will begin; you can spend up to 5 Athlete points to influence your Competition roll.

The Competition Roll uses a 1d8 die to determine the winner of the event.

Obviously, the Player whose Country gets most Medal Points (3 for Gold medal, 2 for Silver medal, 1 for Bronze medal) wins the SPAMOLYMPICS of 1904 AD!

The Competitions will be announced once we get a bunch of the Players.
