Guess the pattern

This is a game that involves guessers and thinkers.
The thinker thinks of some rule ("pattern") that involves numbers and/or letters presented in sequence and provides a single example of what fits the pattern. Guessers can either
a) provide a sequence, in which case the guesser must say it it fits their pattern or not.
or
b) try to guess the rule, in which case the tinker must either confirm it is their rule or provide a counter-example.
The round is over when the guesser guesses what the pattern is correctly. After a round, Any guesser can volunteer to be the next thinker. A person cannot be a thinker consecutively. Quoting which question is being answered is helpful.

I will start with something that hopefully isn't too complicated:
2-4-6 fits the pattern.

No, I'm explaining this poorly: you have to make a sequence of your own and I will tell you if it fits the rule.
