The goblins words hang in the air, and the sounds of the camp seem to still around you. He waits for you to speak, and you watch that damnable grin slowly fall away from his face. Your iron-worker moves first, seeming to read your intentions without a word between you. He slips a hammer from his belt and steps forward, cracking the head goblins skull before anyone can react. He falls with a wet thump, and one of the younger goblins shrieks. They turn to run, stumbling in panic, but the camp is upon them before they take even a dozen steps. A flurry of rocks and claws and spattered blood and that's the end of it. The goblins are no more.
Your runner vomits in the dirt, and some of the other kobolds look uneasy.
The iron-worker clasps you on the shoulder. "It was the right call. It would have been worse if you had let him go".
