Is a college built for those who seek the ultimate power, the truth, the infinite knowledge. Anyone who joins will put their life on the risk. 99% of those who participated have not made it out to tell their tale and those who remained alive simply forgot their experience from that place or suffer an extreme case of trauma. To join their college, the participant will have to use a scroll with a specific rune, once it is used, they will be teleported into The 12th Cirlce."


This game will focus on puzzle solving and character building. Looking for 3+ Players. Character Sheet:

Can you give a bit more background information? What races exist? What spells (or at least what general power level) can we pick?

I tried to play chess but two of my opponents were playing competitive checkers as a third person walked in with Game of Thrones in hand confused cause they thought this was the book club.

Background: Female, Fairy, a being about 12 inches tall with white wings on which she floats around. Wears a green dress made from leaves and a cloak of flower petals. Silver hair in a pixie cut and blue eyes.

Laguz- Water's Growth: Call forth the primordial powers of Water, healer of the sick, lifegiver to the living, destroyer of the old.
Kenaz- Fire's Warmth: Call forth the primordial powers of Fire, the warm heat which drives one to greater heights, the burning which cleanses the dead, power of the living.
Haglaz- Wind's Precipitation: Call forth the primordial powers of Wind, that which transmutes the elements, gives power to that which has none, reaper of power.
Mannaz- Earth's Life: Call forth the primordial powers of Earth, protector of the living, bounty of minerals, destination of life.
Ansuz- Divine Passage: Call upon the primordial energy of ancient times, that which governs magic, rules the world, governs judgement and punishment.

Can you give a bit more background information? What races exist? What spells (or at least what general power level) can we pick?

No restriction, you can make your character as ridiculous as possible in terms of power. There's no concrete setting, you can have your character using futuristic gear like laser guns and such.

Name: Ray Williams
Background: Male, Human. Short red hair and blue eyes hidden behind shiny glasses. Wears a school uniform under his own assumption that this college requires one. Casts his spells using a rune-covered smartphone with installed SpellApps. Average height and thin build.
Specialty: Summoning
List of spells:
Summon Familiar: Summons an entity that Ray has previously created a contract with. The entity must willingly make the contract (helpfully included as part of this SpellApp) and is not otherwise compelled to follow his commands. After the duration of the spell, the entity returns to its previous location. He currently only has a contract with the giant electric hornet named Dynamo, which is capable of firing lightning from it stinger. Ray uses this power both to defend himself and charge his phone.

Summon Entity from Beyond: AKA the Gacha Spell. This spell finds the location of a completely random person, spirit, monster, robot, or other creature (henceforth shortened to "entity"), determines if it is in a state that it can be forcibly summoned and compelled to follow orders, and then Summons and Binds them if that is indeed the case. If not it goes off to the next random entity. This means that it can rarely summon very powerful entities under Ray's command, if he is lucky enough that the spell finds someone strong who currently has low resistance to his spells (such as entities that are unexpectedly summoned in their sleep). Entities retain their full personality and can take actions without orders. In addition while they are compelled to follow commands, they can resist orders that go against their nature if they have strong willpower. Entities return to their previous location as the duration of the spell ends.

Summon Item from Beyond: AKA the Item Gacha. This works similar to Summon Entity from Beyond, but Ray is capable of determining the function of the summoned item. If he attempts to summon a "weapon" for example, it could find a magic sword, a firearm, a hand grenade, or a laser-spear with all the necessary ammunition to make the weapon work. If he attempts to summon "cover" it could summon a large boulder, a concrete wall, or an unplugged refrigerator. As most items can't resist spells nor do they have to be compelled to follow, the average quality of summon is higher than SEfB, but powerful magical artifacts will sometimes have enough magic resistance to make their summoning unlikely. As will the rest of the summons it returns to its previous location when the duration of the spell ends.

Name: Alfa Bravo
Background: Apparently male, apparently human. Darkly complected, perhaps middle-eastern (though he doesn't know for sure), but wan, as if he isn't a big fan of the sun, and with blue-grey eyes that look just a little wild. Usually outfitted like a slacker goth in slightly oversized, baggy black clothes; his idea of formal-wear is the same general theme but with a lot of superfluous metal bits. Sometimes some of the metal bits appear to be embedded in his skin, but nobody knows how they got there; there aren't any holes normally or anything. Besides his appearance, Alfa Bravo's history is... interesting. Though he doesn't share much about himself, it happens that he was made as a science experiment by a team of scientists (mostly biologists but with plenty of input from other fields, including some you wouldn't normally expect to be involved at all) who didn't know who they were working for, using technology they didn't understand which they didn't know where it was coming from. One member of this team, whom Alfa Bravo came to regard as a sort of parent, was able to work out a little bit about what they were doing by judiciously looking over the shoulders of colleagues, discovering (and passing on to Alfa) that he is actually a clone of himself created through time travel. Reportedly, his DNA is "weird" and "shouldn't work", but no one person was ever allowed to see all of it. Like in any good cloning experiment backstory, when he was a kid, the project was shut down without notice or reason, the facility destroyed, and most of the personnel... liquidated. Bravo himself was supposed to be liquidated as well, but, in the way these things usually go, escaped with the help of his "parent", who was, naturally, mortally wounded in the escape, dying with words which implied there were more secrets yet to be learned.
Specialty: Dreaming.
List of spells:
1) Adjust Appearance: Alfa never quite learned concepts like changing clothes, haircuts, or worse, shaving. (He did eventually come to understand showers after herculean effort.) Luckily, he doesn't need to: after a quick nap, he always wakes up looking like whatever he thinks he needs to, within certain limits: he always looks more or less like himself (though he can look like a disguised version of himself, such as in a mask or costume makeup), he is always roughly the same height (about 5'10") and weight (wiry), and he is always extremely hairy from the midriff down (he has considered that he may actually be a faun).
2) Remote Control: Alfa is always aware and in control of his dreams (though only his own actions, not the setting). Sometimes, though, he dreams that he's somebody else. Sometimes this just happens, although he can usually make it happen with a little effort. When he dreams that he's somebody else... he sees the world through that person's eyes at that moment, and whatever he decides to do, that person does for real. The only major flaw in this ability is that, if the person he dreams he is is asleep, he can't wake that person up without also waking himself up. He CAN, though, use this ability with ability 1 to adjust someone else's appearance. Use of this ability lasts an unpredictable amount of time until his dream randomly changes to something else.
3) Dream Sight: By focusing his mind very intently, Alfa can dream of events in the past, present, and future, and sometimes even remember them after waking up. Unfortunately, dreams can sometimes be distorted in weird symbolic ways. At least that's the excuse he uses when they don't work right.
4) Dream Shape: If he chooses, Alfa can take an object (even multiple objects, though it's harder the more stuff there are) from his dream with him when he wakes up, bringing it into reality in the same position relative to him that it was in the dream. This is very dangerous and should only be used in emergencies, because objects in dreams... don't always come out quite right. Or sometimes they come out right except for coming alive and wanting to eat you. It's sort of a mixed bag with dreams.
5) Sleep: This isn't really a "spell", but an important fundamental ability for Alfa's other skills: He can fall asleep on demand, if given reasonable privacy and comfort. This might actually be the one I wish most that I had.
