You feel refreshed, dry, and warmed...
Staring at the wurm idol bathed in fire you feel you could offer Hopes to it to climb a Level Up in attributes, if you had any.
You also feel you could Reverse Hollowing you might go through by offering Delusion up to the flames, or perhaps strengthen the Kindle of this idol with the same Delusion.

You feel the relaxed spirits of this place nearby, there is clearly something strange about this... but it doesn't smell like a threat.

Lets go commune with these spirits.

You try to commune with the spirits here; but while they look close they feel worlds away, you may need something to bring them closer to actually interact...

Look around our surroundings and see if the light from the fire reviled anything interesting.

Looking around you don't see anything changed by lighting the fire.

You can probably run back up the pipe, but your not going to be about to climb back up to where the two cats are...

Lets go up that path to the clifftop that was mentioned earlier.

You walk up the path towards the top of the cliff, the path narrows into a ledge and rounds a corner into some sort of dry human sized canal, the path does appear to continue on beyond, but there isn't any way across here.

You see further into the canal is a ladder upwards, and further still is blocked by debris to the point of being impassable.

Lets go over to the debris and check it for loot, then climb the ladder.

+1, however, I’m unsure we can climb the ladder, presumably it’s meant for humans, we can still check for any items here though

You check the debris for loot.
Soft Strand 1

You climb up the ladder and into something like a closed back alley that runs parallel and above the sewer sloped upwards slightly away from the cliff.
The alley is closed on three sides the two spackled sidewalls with buildings stretching upwards with windows and such way up from where you can climb and the side with the cliff near you which is a solid spackled wall.
The far side looks to open into somewhere else.
It is fairly clean if only because this is probably a spillway and everything runs down to below.

You see a fairly lucid looking hollowed rat standing midway up the alleyway, maybe 15 feet away...
It is looking in your direction aggressively but isn't moving to attack you.

There are a few flame messages about.

You read the flame messages down near you; "Could this be a friend?", "Time for stealth", "No attacking ahead and then gesture!", "Let there be parrying", "Equip weapons and use items from the menu.", "Try rat enemy."...
