Like new versions? They'll come when they come.

The game itself is free though, so on the off-chance you didn't know that... happy birthday, I guess.

Unless you want free steam releases, but free lockdown releases presupposes any steam releases happening before we have transcended our fragile human forms~

It's obviously a spam bot. Just ignore it.

That's been on since June and made one post? Maybe. Can be hard to tell with newer members.

Copy the apparently random message, paste it into the board of any game in existence. If it works, 99% of the time bot.

On the off chance that it's a human:

That's a link to Dwarf Fortress. A free game which has always been free.

Nope Im not a Spam Bot. It was a legit question that I just put forward as a suggestion. The point being, there's a lot of people out there right now doing very little except surfing the internet. Checked internet statistics lately?

I mean, fair enough, but it seems like a reasonable thing to say. Given the sensitive nature of it, I didnt want to elaborate too much. You may want to inform yourself on whats going on in the world at this moment in time. Its not very nice.

" On the off chance that it's a human:

Also a fair comment. Yeah, Fair enough. I have no response to that.

You dont have to agree with the suggestion. It doesnt benefit me in anyway. Just putting it out there.

Well, as mentioned, the game is free already (with the option to donate, which isn't tied to downloading it.

The way this game is developed does not really lend itself to quick releases, as everything except really small things take months to develop. Toady is gearing up to support parallel development of bug fixes/minor additions to the latest release while mainly working on the next one, but haven't done so yet.

A possible candidate for a latest release update would be the stress adjustments (which would also serve as a beta test of it), but we'll see what Toady comes up with. The graphics stuff that he's worked on can't really be released as an update to the latest release, nor can the UI rework, with I guess Toady is working on now (there haven't been any dev logs for a long time, unless you consider the ones posted on Steam and cross posted here by forumites as such).

Its a wonderful game and a massive undertaking. He does an absolutely brilliant job heh. Yeah, I probably should donate something. I've played it more then I care to admit ha ha.

Cheers mate.

And I say, clever, but copy/paste rule still applies to everything this bot has posted so far.

Game is free. No human could just miss that fact.

(Cue bot copying pieces of random text from above replies to try to pass itself off as a real player).

Ha ha ha. Yeah.

Well, anyway, carry on. Kind of fascinating to see what AI can do these days. This one seems to not have an agenda other than trying to pass itself off as a somewhat confused forum user. Try not to make friends.  :)

There are still humans here?

Just kidding. Ha Ha Ha.

(Although a bot that does the surfing for me like a washing machine does my laundry would be nice, though. Would save much time.)

When one does as Pathos does, one becomes as Pathos is.
