Fire on the Mandator. Also, think it's time to start up the jump drive. Jump to extreme range relative to the Mandator.

I would pretty please like to fire on the T-Lock with all weapons and murder it, thank you.

Counting your chickens a bit early there Madman, remember what happened last time you shot at the T-Lock?

Continue jumping, continue repairing, continue scratching Mandator's paint

Yeah I know. Luckily your jump charge appears to be 0/2 so I can follow easily whenever you actually do manage to jump, if you ever do :P, and hopefully I'll manage to hit the T-Lock sometime here soon. I might have to chase it down, though that's going to be almost impossible for now due to how jump drives work.

Yeah, the 0/2 is a bit of a mislabel I feel; should be 1/2 yes? Last I checked, jumping ships only have to take fire on the turn they start charging, and the turn after, yes? Could be wrong, though I feel I have decent odds of escaping your grasp, Madman.

And don't worry McDreich! I was born lucky!... Though this is your luck we're talking about isn't it?.... Ah well, Madman's absurd luck this match has to run out eventually, yes? (Yes Madman, you've had absurd luck, often delivering exactly the amount of shots to annihilate a section and no more, and doing the same to the next one and so forth. It's part of why you are unscathed, the mass precision 3 shot per section salvos you scored against me so early.)

Hm, right. I *can* jump farther than you, so theoretically I can just jump past you, allowing myself to remain within range of you even if you immediately make another jump. I know that some of you guys are going to escape, the distance and jump mechanics and my own present status (alone) guarantees it.

The question is, will I get lucky enough to kill you before you all manage your respective escapes?

Right. Jilla requested to move "as far away as possible". Because he had one fully working and one damaged drive, I chose that to mean the damaged one (assisted by the Intact one) would jump 3 steps, rather than the Intact one Jumping 2 steps alone.

Of course, because it's the damaged one doing the work, it takes longer.

Fair enough, though in that case wouldn't a '1/3' have been more accurate? Ah well. Understood now.

Yeah, I've not been terribly consistent about that one, as you'll note that missiles and DC also have their own rules as to whether they are 1 or 0 indexed.

Anyway, I'll sort the turn sometime today.

Turn 12

Spoiler: Crunch (click to show/hide)

Happy that the Ayes won't be going anywhere any time soon, the Mandator turns on the only other undamaged ship. At this range, the laser batteries had to rely on saturation fire to score any hits and half of those that did were deflected by the T-Lock's shields. The gunnery crews impressive aim/luch continues however, as three of those shots hit the bow of their target, disintegrating fragile sensors and rendering the point defence battery inoperable.

As usual, the ridiculous level of protection afforded by the Mandator's defence systems ensures that not a single hit touches the vessel.

The Field (Medium Range)
 |- Goliath vs several Davids (Short Range)
 |   |- The Ayes
 |   -> Battleship Brawl (Melee)
 |       |- Mandator
 |       -> Koganasun
 -> T-Lock

Warships
Spoiler: RED The Ayes - a1s (click to show/hide)

Destroyed

All weapons back on the Koganusan, charge the jump drive to follow it.
