Having multiple augmentations on the same section is acceptable, but no doubling up. Thus Jilla's Kinetic murder boat is valid.

I do realise though that with five Jump Drives you're gonna be zooming all over the place. Thus I will be modifying them as follows:

Jump Drive: Required to move the ship in any reasonable time frame during combat.
Cost: 5 MCreds, 4 Power
*Intact: Requires one turn of charging to jump, changing distance by up to two steps
*Damaged: Requires two turns of charging to jump, changing distance by up to two steps
*Destroyed: Cannot jump
**Special: Additional Intact Jump Drives increase the distance you can Jump. The first additional step requires one more Jump Drive. The second additional step requires two more Jump Drives. Etc. Damaged Jump Drives do not provide this bonus, but can still receive it.

This would mean the Koganasun can do a four step jump plus a redundant drive. Feel free to modify your ship in light of this change.

New rules as written imply that one cannot get more than a 4 step jump movement, correct? Or do we continue increasing speed at 1 step per 2 drives or an escalating curve?

If you want to upgrade to a five step jump, you would need another two Jump Drives. (1 base, plus 1, plus 2, plus 3)

Right then. As I am not willing to infringe upon the budget of hypothetical teammate #2, and Red Team now having a rough resource parity with Blue Team, I am content to use my ship as-is. Just swapped out what is and isn't powered at start.

I have serious changes I can make, but since my teammate has a substantially smaller ship I'll leave it to them to decide whether or not they'd like to make changes, and how many changes they'd like, before I do.
