Hello, my small and easily-vaporized friend. Allow me to introduce to you the consequences of bringing a tin can to a battleship-grade knife fight. :P

I didn't? Huh. Thought I did this time. Ah well. Sorry.

Keep at things, switch damage control again, from Mass Driver 8 to Mass Driver 2, fire at Mandator

Turn 7

Spoiler: Crunch (click to show/hide)

After suffering the tender mercies of both fleets the Koganasun and the Snail have a reprieve as everyone turns their attention to other, non-crippled, targets. This is not to the Ayes best interests, as it now takes its turn in the gaze of the Mandator. A storm of light pops the Ayes's shields like a bubble, melting hull and incinerating components across the entirety of the small vessel. Nearly every section took damage, but with enough time that means almost everything can be brought back up to full capacity.

The Mandator also receives some attention in the form of a volley of lasers and both of T-Lock's missile barrages to bring the shields down to 33%.

Shouldn't my shields now be at 10, due to my +5 recharge?

Anyway, I would like to murder T-Lock, now.

I dont think I've been particularly consist about applying shield regen at the beginning vs end of a turn, but it has definitely always happened between rounds of shooting. I'll officially declare that it happens at the end of the turn for now though, will edit your stats in a mo.

Koganasun missed both of it's shots at melee range? ouch. One the one turn I could overwhelm the PD.

Ahh well. Good run. I'll be focussing on the Snail as I just don't have the missiles to help at all against the Mandator! We shall take one with us!

I came back to the thread wondering who I had to poke. Turns out it was me.

Turn 8

Spoiler: Crunch (click to show/hide)

The Mandator's laser batteries turn on the T-Lock, as the only undamaged hostile in the region. However, the comparatively long range makes targetting difficult, and barely half of the shots find their mark, burning through the T-Lock's shield and leaving a number of superficial scars on the hull. Instead of seeking revenge however, the T-Lock's missiles were primed to finish the crippled Snail.

Accompanied by the Ayes' weakened laser battery, the ship was hit with what ought to have been a death blow. Instead, the captain of the Snail puts the ship into a spin, and places its already brutally damaged aft into harma way, absorbing the shots and leaving thecremaining systems intact at the expanse of some of the ship's brave repair crew.

Meanwhile, the Koganasun had successfully restored power to one of it's Mass Drivers, and was hungry for some payback. Firing from point blank at the BLU dreadnought, it was able to overwhelm the ship's point defence and score a pair of hits on the vessel, although the armoured hull was able to withstand the blows unphased.
