Contingency for 'slave' economic objects.
« on: August 07, 2020, 07:09:27 am »

Because the inevitability may end up being that your currently played race, even while playing the forces of civilization & order (humans/dwarves etc respectively) can raid and steal unique economic 'slave' metal objects (or buy them by forcing neutrality from summoned traders) is there any sort of contingency for races that don't utilize 'slave items' naturally to trade them in?

There are some basic tit-for-tat things you could do like a simple coin ransom or tributive trinket  for freeing them (thinking along the lines of quality of input, like orc-fortress corsairs though im not 100% knowledgable about how much is or isnt dfhack), but the scope of DFhack triggering is much more interesting in the possibilites.

It'd be nice for this to be considered for post-steam release rework on hopefully the latest version so that most modifications don't go against the grain of the base vanilla game features introduced.
