The kitchenette mold free, you move on to the pantry. it's nasty in there. The bacon is grazing on the lettuce. The ham is having an illicit affair with the prime rib, The potatoes see all, know all. A rat in boxer shorts smoking a foul smelling cigar is banging on a cabinet shouting about rent money.

Chase the creature into the body of the guitar!
This!

You dive into the instrument, twisting around to walk upon the broad wooden plain, under the shafts of light from the music flowing through the air.  Ahead you can see yellow tails, floating in the distant air.  But there is always the flow of music in the air.. perhaps it is leading you elsewhere?

Music is more important than tails. I think.

You close your eyes and listen to the music for a short period, just a few seconds of trying to groove out to music you can't place.  You can't actually place it, as you try to make out the beat.  Or even if there is a beat.

When you open your eyes later, you are alone in the middle of a spotlight.  You feel someone, or something is watching you.

"uh uh uh, you're the one on stage right now."

You manage to see the back of your own head.  It's moderately disorienting, but quickly snaps back to you being in the spotlight surrounded by anticipatory darkness.

Whistle for Talent and show off our show-jumping skills. Or tap-dancing. Whichever he feels like.

Talent does show up, you mount, and start trotting around in circles.  The spotlight follows, and dim house lights light up, letting you see barriers and fences and water hazards laid out into a dome.

Clop.  Clop.  Clop.  Clop.  Clop.

The air barding does help with this a fair bit.  It's great, as you trot and leap around in front of the invisible crowd.

What next?
