"I see, Wallhaim."
Steven has but a hint of doubt before turning to Cattleya.
"Chatgeant, you have no reason to worry. I have seen your swordwork before. You have my highest respect."

As Kruger proves himself to be a competent politician, Reeve responds to the arrival of the other class as she normally would. Loud and without a shred of shame,

"Ah, so our rival class has successfully passed. Congratulations are in order."

"Additionally, you assume correctly Harrigan. Class 3-F is more than capable of handling this mock battle. In comparison, it will be a walk in the park when compared to the trials I have already experienced."

"We're fixing to ace it, just y'all watch. Ain't that right?"

The question was directed in general at whoever in 3-F wanted to answer it.

: "Oh! Yes, of course we will pass. After all, if we do not then we will be held back a year, which will almost certainly be the end of the journey for some of us."

: "No pressure or anything."

"Hey, congratulations." Delwyn gave class 3-A a lazy wave. "Good to have it over with, right?"

"All I know is after all that waiting, I'm sure ready to."

Arnett kept dead silent, mentally deciding that perhaps considering the fortune and Kruger's... advice... that it would probably just be best to stay in the back. With the advent of the other class showing up, he decided to get started right away and slink to the back of the group while praying that nobody noticed him— this class or the other class.

Moira seems satisfied with Kruger not having a word to say.
"I see I've struck our distinguished competition speechless. As expected, never a word towards his superiors, but always something to say to those beneath him, hm?"
As Reeve speaks, Moira simply gives her a haughty look.
"I expect nothing less from someone claiming to be the heiress to the Polyions. Live up to your claims or burn out trying."
Steven quietly sighs, subtly moving to block Moira.
"We should not keep Professor Ramsay waiting. He is heading up the path now to escort you. I wish you the best of luck. Kaya, perhaps we could meet up afterwards?"
"You bet!"
Steven nods, before signalling the class to continue following him. Moira simply looks over the group one more time, an imperious smile on her face, before she follows them. Elma hangs back a moment.
"Firstly, don't mind her. She's always got a stick up you-know-where. Secondly, when you guys pass, you're welcome to join us for drinks at the hall. My treat!"

With that, she skips off behind Class 3-A.

A short while after, the imposing, humongous figure of Professor Ramsay strolls down the path. His armor clanks and groans as he moves. He grasps a clipboard in his right hand, looking comically small to his Andvarian frame. He surveys Class 3-F with a gruff grunt, nodding ever so subtly to Lin; the young Belgor was someone he'd noticed in his Blacksmithing classes for her dedication to his favored subject.
"Class 3-F. Get your equipment and follow me."

"Yessir."

Rika adjusted her scarf around her shoulders and made ready to follow.

: "Yes sir, on my way!"

As if to make him a liar, Mordecai's tome slipped out of his fingers and bounced away, causing the young vampire to scramble after it for a moment.

Luckily for Mordecai, the Metal Devil Queen quickly caught the tome before it crashed into the ground. She had been uncharacteristically quiet for a spell there probably going deep into thought about something. Om fact she had, she was silently thinking about the tarot she jad recieved. Not for it's relevance but for how rad a song she could write about the subject! However, seeing the tome flying by her body moved on it's own. It wasn't hard to find the one who this belonged to, even for Vicky.

"Ah, hey Mordecai! Excited too huh?" the timy belgor jammed the tome back into his arms, certain that he had a firm grip of it before she let go. She then dashed over to her equipment slinging all sorts of black cases over her shoulders. "Alright everybody, let's rock and roll~" Vicky was surprisingly agile for being covered in unwieldy cases, catching up to the rest at a breakneck pace. She was full of energy, one could never deny that.

"I've already been prepared Professor" Reeve replied, brandishing the tome of fire that she hid underneath her cloak while keeping in step with the rest of her classmates.

Being shorter than the sword, Cattleya couldn't carry it sheathed on her body, so she had to have it rested against her shoulder. Cattleya lifted her greatsword onto her shoulder with a huff of effort, then tottered wildly as she nearly overbalanced.
"Ah-wah-"
She gained her balance and narrowly avoided cracking anyone behind her with the sheathed sword.
"Ok, let's go."

Professor Ramsay doesn't say a word when Mordecai and Vicky go to chase his tome, simply waiting patiently for him to get ready.

After everyone has gotten ready, the man leads the group down the winding path without a word. Five minutes later, Class 3-F arrives at the mock village.

The village, of course, resembles some of the more rural villages in northern York, specifically northern Prydain, the island northwest of Erebia and the rest of York, and the same island where Solrise itself is situated. The village is set up with a few mockups of huts, chapels and shops, with some trees dotted here and there. Some metal parts can be seen on the floor, coated in ice or sliced cleanly in half, as if by a hot knife through butter, being swept up by volunteers in rural farmer garb. The mock village looks incredibly realistic, and perfect, as if the buildings and walls had been crafted from clay, and moulded into the appearance of the various materials comprising the structures.

"Professor Verver's work. This only took her all of five minutes."

With his gruff tone, it's hard to tell if he's impressed, casual or something else as he guides the group to a small square in the middle of thev illage. A tall Andvar woman in armor is resting on a wall nearby, calmly scribbling things down on a clipboard of her own. Professor Ramsay gestures to her briefly.
"3-F, Gabriela Lucerne. She's joining my department and will be assisting me in running the forge. She will be shadowing me today to see how we conduct classes."
"A pleasure to meet you all. Please ignore me. I'm just here to watch, nothing more."
"I'll keep this short. Your mission is to rescue the villagers from the Fiend Automata myself and Professor Estelle have created. These Fiends are rigged to back off if you are injured, but make no mistake, they are no less dangerous than the real article, and just as vulnerable to your Artes and Arcana as the real thing. You will be graded on how many of the villagers you have saved within the time you are given, as well as how many of the Fiends you defeat. Your mission will be completed upon either the passage of half an hour or upon the rescue of all villagers, NOT upon the defeat of all Fiends. Do you have any questions?"
