With an equal showing of theatrics, Reeve dramatically drew her card, the motion smoothly bringing it to point towards the sky for a few moments. Then she quickly brought it down, flipping the card around so she could actually read it, her confident grin growing even larger as she saw what she drew,

"Aha! Exactly as I predicted, The Sun!"

"It looks like the stars agree, today will be a day of greatness, perhaps one that goes even beyond this test."

Mus'ad nods along, before holding his hand out for the card back. He probably would have made a comment about being surprised Reeve was interested enough in Tarot to have a result in mind, but hey, if it worked....

Kruger ignores most of the commotion happening right now. It was useless to speculate about the test until it unfolds before them.
However...

"... Well, Mus'ad. I happen to be in the mood for some light amusement, allow me to draw one of your cards of fate."

Lin rolled her eyes, pulled out a screwdriver, and sat down to fiddle with her leg.

Thankfully for Mus'ad, Reeve didn't waste much time returning the card, placing it in his hand with a dramatic bow. She didn't say anything, but it was clear that she was going to ride this wave for quite some time now.

"Oh, do mine, do mine!"
Kaya sidles up to Mus'ad, looking intrigued.

"I'm feeling a might bit curious too. Mind if I go after Kaya?"

She didn't want to overwhelm the guy with too many questions.

Mus'ad slides the card into the deck, nodding as he starts shuffling the deck once again, though cutting out some of the theatrics in favor of getting everyone done. Starting with Kruger, who would draw The Tower, followed by Kaya, who would get the Six of Cups, and finally, he turns to Rika. He pauses, looks at the top card of the deck, and then frowns before patting himself down, apparently looking for something. After a moment he seems to realize something, and hands her Strength from his sleeve. He stands there for a moment, looking expectantly at the group for any questions.

Kruger looks at the Tower card for a while, weighting it between his fingers. He lightly touches his scarf with the free hand before returning said card to Mus'ad.

"Well, I presume there isn't much excitement to be won out of a single card. My folly that I assumed more."

Delwyn caught a brief glimpse of Kruger's card as it changed hands.

"I don't know, it could be useful information to know what it means. Like, maybe you might turn into a tower and get struck by lightning in the future."

: I'm surprised that fortune telling is so popular here. Well, when in York...may I, Mus'ad?"

Kruger glances to Delwyn, slightly annoyed but otherwise looking unfazed.

"Guess you couldn't help putting your nose into issues that aren't yours."

He sighs a bit.

"If you must know, Greene, at the end of the day, it is just a card with artwork. A piece of artwork that is supposed to make you think about its esoteric nature, but an artwork nonetheless."
"In the end, it is a piece of cardboard with neither power nor agency. It just is."
"Only a fool, or a hopeless romantic, would let their future actions be decided by random interpretations of some cardboard, instead of taking matters in their own hands."

Delwyn covered her mouth as she yawned again. You know, Kruger always had a lot of words to say, but somehow it just usually didn't seem very important to actually figure out what he was talking about? Was that weird?

"Sounds like a talk you ought to have with some fortune teller somewhere around here, not me."

"All I'm saying is... if you happen to start feeling like you're about to achieve your ultimate fate of becoming a stack of rocks during the test, maybe consider warning me so I can stay away."

"Well, I'm happy you noticed, but I don't exactly feel like this was the cards giving me a fortune."

Rika laughed and handed the Strength card back to Mus'ad.

"Thanks though."

"Oh, don't be a killjoy, Wallhaim, it's just a bit of fun! Thanks a bunch, by the way. Six of Cups, huh? Doesn't that mean something like....joy?"
Kaya flashes Mus'ad a smile as she hands back her card.
