As Mordecai's magical barrage finally, finally, manages to force Theodora down, the spearmaiden does not frown, but rather smiles, laughing a little as she drops Andreas on the ground, still placing herself between the group and him.
".....finally. Worthy opponents....I'd be happy to lose to. A challenge I can finally call equal."

As she props herself up with her lance, a loud whistle blast sounds over the field.
"Enough! The battle is over!"
Dead silence for a few moments.

Then the stands erupt in cheers. You can see Professor Estelle give a proud smile, before recieving some money from a disappointed-looking Professor Ververs.
"The winner of today's match is.....Class 3-F!"

Lin panted with exertion, still reeling from the hits Theodora had delivered. The warmth around them flared suspiciously close to when the spear wielder offered her compliment, before sputtering and fading as the belgor forced it back down.
"You, haaah. . . you really think so?" Lin blinked.
"I mean, uh, it was a good fight. Nice to test my gear out."

Orrel smiled, offering Alicia a hand up.

"Damn, you put us through it. And the way you can just toss an enemy around the battlefield? Amazing. Sorry about that last hit, little harder than I meant it to be, but I figured anything less than my all and it would end with me tossed up into that tree over there somehow."

For a brief moment, even Reeve was hushed when the silence fell over the battlefield. But, with the cheers of the crowd erupting, the young prodigy immediately perked up, turning to and waving at the stands. Ordinarily, this would have been where she would launch into a large scale speech, trying to sway the crowd's ears and eyes all to her. But instead, Reeve merely waved, flourishing with a twirl and little displays of fire. After a little bit of the display though, Reeve spun back around, facing the opposing class and, surprisingly, performed a small curtsy towards them,


"I would like to give my deepest congratulations to you, class 3-C. This duel of ours was quite the spectacle, and surely one that our guests will remember fondly" Reeve began, rising back to her full height and spinning around, a hand flying up to her collarbone and the other flourishing her cloak,


"Of course, even if it ended in loss, rest easy knowing that it took some of the greatest minds in the academy, along with the Angel of Flame herself, to be your match. Tis a feat many would be incapable of replicating"

"That sure was one hell of a dance! What a thrill!"
That squirrel madame is surprisingly strong too!"

As Orrel approaches Alicia, he realises that Alicia isn't actually THAT badly injured. Well, aside from a possible concussion, as she rubs her head where the gunsen hit her square in the noggin, clapping her helmet onto her skull.
"Ididn'ttakeitpersonally. Itwasatrainingexerciseandwedidn'trrainhardenough. We'llwinnexttime. Iwon'tdisappointMus'adlikethatagain."
She takes Orrel's hand.
Theodora studies Lin a little confusedly.
"....yes, it was."
All Reeve gets is a few groans from the members of the Class still on the field being picked up. Seems you might have done a bit TOO good of a job in defeating your peers.

Orrel raised an eyebrow.

"Mus'ad, huh? Cute... Well, I doubt he'd be disappointed at the fight you put up. Second to last one standing, keeping up with Dora even. And the way you were taking care of your teammates? Impressive. Your class is lucky to have you by their sides. You've got a good squad here. I'm going to be sore for a while, ha."

"Um. S-Sorry. Been a little off balance recently. Plus I'm tired." She gestured vaguely at herself, though it was rather awkward given the hulking mass of her sword and axe. "Temperature fluctuation can get you, you know. . ."
