She catches her spear again, twirling it and returning to her position.

Kruger got hurled through a bunch of trees followed by a small forest, dirt and dust flying around and obscuring the place where Kruger ultimatively landed. It was a painful experience, that much a casual observer can relate to. In the audience seats, a few of the visitors from Starfall exchanged hushed words, one or two such exchanges followed by repressed chuckles.

"Maybe I've overextended..."

The attention of the visitors returned to the battlefield. From the cloud of earthly debris emerged a somewhat bloodied Kruger. And yet, he smiled.

"... But your strike wasn't decisive enough either, Alicia. And with that lack of determination, your faint chance of turning the tables has slipped away forevermore."

The fingers of his free hand lightly glided over his scarf before his attention returned to the enemies before him.

"I dedicate this victory to you, mother..."

His goal was not to attempt another strike. He served his part as distraction. Now, it was time to focus on what's important: Press the advantage... and help to keep everyone going in the battle.
Within his heart, the anthem of Rheinberg was resonating.
