Arnett let out a small laugh in response to Lin.

"H-hehe- sorry- that was just- unexpected, Lin- sorry- I mean, I'm ready- I think I'm ready-" Even though Arnett was trying to fight the giggles, he couldn't stop a smile. At least it seemed to mitigate his nerves a little.

"Even the younger Sokolov declares his stance firmly enough. I think it's impossible for our class as a whole to be more ready than right now."

Kruger touched his scarf with his right index finger, took a deep breath, then raised his head and turned towards the stadium, walking straight towards it and thus assuming a groupleader position by default.

Class 3-F finds themselves standing in a field, around which the stands are set up. The field is set up with small hills, forests, and even a pond; the work of Professor Ververs, no doubt.

At the center, upon a platform floating upon Alphinite crystals, is Professor Carver.
"Good morning, students of Solrise Academy and attendees from near and far! Today is the first match of the Solrise Academy Intra-Class Exhibition Tournament, where the skills of the best and brightest members of our esteemed academy will show off their skills!"
Cheers erupt from the audience.

"In one corner, we have Class 3-F, led by our very own Professor Estelle!"
The professor smiles lightly, looking on from her front-row seat.

"In the other, we have Class 3-C, led by the esteemed professor who made this very stadium, Professor Ververs!"
The young-looking lady blushes at the praise from her own seat.

"And now, to explain the rules! Each group will fight until there are no more members of the group left standing. If a student is no longer able to fight, they will be evacuated from the battlefield! There will be no substitutions into battle! Once the classes have entered battle, their numbers are fixed! And without further ado, let us begin the battle!"

On the opposite end of the battlefield, Theodora stares down the group, Orrel in specific.
"May the best fighters win."

"Okay... I'm not afraid... I'm not afraid..." Arnett stepped up, readying his brand new paintbrush. It felt light to his fingertips— too light to make any proper paint on a canvas, but for the creation of a soldier, it would work just fine. He hurriedly made his way to the trees to try and give himself and his future work some territory. "Sad Day...!" Arnett, with courage that didn't quite match the volume of his voice like Kruger's did, began painting.

"Don't you be shy now, for we will be robbing you clean either way!"

While his Arte-empowered voice is most useful against Fiends, that doesn't stop Kruger from practicing his silent whispering focused on the hands and weapons of his classmates. Opportunities shall not be wasted.
Plus, an improvement is still an improvement, even if not against the intended type of enemy.
