He nods towards Orrel.

"Oh yea... I never considered with all these people around we might get recognized. Ugh, I hope my family name won't be brought up anytime this week."

"... Right, you are a von Celeste. I... can emphasize with that notion."

Arnett was mostly quiet during the preparations, even during the class discussion about strategy. However, he looked like he was in significantly better spirits than he did the days leading up to the championship. Instead of talking, he mostly opted to fiddle with one of his paintbrushes; twirling it in his hands and occasionally testing the edges of the bristles to make sure that they were in good condition.

"So, we're fighting you guys first, huh?"
Kaede suddenly approaches the class, a confident smile on her face.
"You ready for the rematch?"

[Praefectus Screptum]

"Oh, a rematch? I am guessing you lads already had a duel with this madame and her class, yes?"
"Pleased to meet you, I am Ricardo Rosseau!"

"Greetings, Miyajima... And indeed, Rosseau, we already had the honor of a mock battle. It was a delightful experience, all things considered."

His posture became more straight at he adresses Kaede once more.

"It was on rather short notice, his addition, so, if you wish, he could showcase his Arte before the battle, for the sake of fairness. No one should say we will win once more because of a wild card in our hand."

Kaede grins.
"Of course I'm ready. Ready to kick your collective butts."

"Nice to meet you, Ricardo. Kaede Miyajima, Class 3-C's representative. Nice get-up, by the way. Reminds me of that Cactus Bandito dude Max's a fan of. For a guy as quiet as him, you'd be surprised what he likes, huh?"

[Praefectus Screptum]

"Oh? I can see you have some fine tastes then, Kaede! It s-"
Rosseau raised an eyebrow and stopped on his tracks at the mention of his title.
"Hold that thought, madame-Are you telling me someone here knows about my music?"
And just like that he reached for his guitar to furiously play a song.
"What a treat, what a fight, and what a day to bring someone down! Brings your friends, bring your weapons and the party only ends when there's only one standing!"
"A fan THIS far away? What a treat indeed! For you are looking at the one and only Cactus Bandito! _{And if you heard any sort of questionable stories about my career, they are lies."}

Kaede just lifts an eyebrow at Ricardo.
"....riiiiight."
"Oh, don't worry, Weylan. I heard a bunch of people looking for the bassist of LDMD. Someone, not sure who, told 'em you attend here, so I'd probably keep a low profile."

Lin planted her hand firmly on her face.

"Great. I mean, I don't mind people who wanna listen, but nobody knows how to give me space. You'd think that one time I accidentally set that guy on fire would've taught them. . ."

[Praefectus Screptum]

"Come on, now madame. Can you really blame me for feeling this energetic?"
"There's a little duel ahead of us -and- I also get to meet with a fan? It is a nice surprise."

"Oh, don't worry, Weylan, Andreas and I got your back. We've been having the Sloanes run around misdirecting them. Right now, they think Idunn's you."

"Will I get the pleasure to meet the rest of your class -before- the duel or are we short on time?"
"Just wondering. It is odd to dance with new folks without getting to know them first!"

"That's nice." She bobbed her head in a nod, before her expression changed to a frown of confusion. "Wait, how'd you convince them of that? She doesn't even have horns."
