"Aha! Here he is, one Steven-" Reeve began, loudly announcing her find for a few moments before Steven's stern expression was finally registered, causing the young noble to pause long enough for Kaya and Stephanie to arrive, followed shortly by Steven explaining why he was in such a hurry, earning him a slightly confused look from Reeve,


"... Wait, invaders? How is this the first time I've heard of such a thing?" she asked, giving only a moment for someone to answer before she shook her head,


"Ah well, I suppose it doesn't matter. They must have been quite cunning to slip under my notice. If there are those who wish to disrupt the lives of our fellow students here at the academy, then rest assured then I shall do whatever is in my power to assist in their premature departure."

"You'll have to tell me more after we resolve this. I can't imagine what it would take to bring things to this point. Invading this school... They had to know it wasn't going to end the way they wanted it to."

Speaking of ending, they were rapidly approaching their destination. Orrel gestured that she should go first, figuring that she should be the one to save Joel if he needed it.

"Wh- huh!?" Arnett looked mildly shocked at Lin suddenly saying that she would say what happened if Arnett were to collapse. "B-But- I mean- I'll try not to collapse, but- y-you could just say nothing- I-I dunno- I mean, I guess I don't know what'd happen, I haven't used my Arte more than twice at a time-" Arnett definitely went into panic mode— comprehension of his own words was difficult even for him. "But- uh- try not to tell? Uh- please? A-as long as I don't pass out?"

"I won't tell unless I have to." She tilted her head to the right. "Orrel deserves to know what's going on if it does happen, though, right? If he knows what it is, he'll be less worried than if he has to wonder what might make it happen again."

As Orrel and Himiko make their way to the main hall from the Student Union room, and Reeve leads her group from the library, they find Joel glaring down a group of Kuriyama men, holding his staff firmly.

"Do you think I'll just give Himiko up, just like that? Be real. I wouldn't give her up for anything."
"Mr. Harvey, I'm afraid it's not quite up to you. You should be grateful we're giving you this option."
"Just what do you think your bargaining position in this affair is? Someone like you getting involved in our affairs like that.....we've done worse to fools like that."
"Not up for debate. If you think I'll just let the girl I love go, like that, for any sum of money, you should look somewhere else. I've fought Fiends, you don't scare me."
"This is bigger than just some stupid animals, kid! Give it up!"

Following closely behind Steven, Reeve quickly made her way to where the so called 'invaders' were, practically skidding to a stop once they arrived. She didn't pay much attention to the scene itself or what they were talking about, aside from taking note who looked like a classmate and who looked unfamiliar... Which, obviously, was the group of men facing down Joel. It didn't get much more obvious then that.


"Aha! So the rumors were true, a group of fiends in human clothing have infiltrated our beloved school, seeking to further their own nefarious plans," Reeve shouted as she straightened herself up, her two arms flying out from underneath her cloak, one holding onto her tome and the other pointing at the group of 'fiends',


"Unless you wish to face the grand might of the Angel of Flames, I would suggest making yourself scarce. Our academy has no need for those who seek to disrupt the peace."

"...right. O... okay." Arnett spoke softly, but he seemed resigned to the idea. "I'll... I'll at least tell Orrel. O-Only if I do get pushed to that point... I'll try not to get to that point." Arnett figured his tag-team partner was strong enough without going full power on his Arte, right? So there shouldn't be a problem... he hoped.

[Swordstar]

"Unfortunately, gentlemen, I'm afraid that you'll find it is you who is lacking a bargaining position right now."

Orrel gently tapped his fan against his palm, the pure picture of relaxed if it were not for the gathering of wind at his back. The wind was rapidly starting to whip, tugging at the clothes of the men, and gathering at the tip of his fan.

"See, you have all these plans and these thoughts for these two, but you've failed to consider that you have no power here. Trespassers in the Academy must be dealt with. So be glad that I am giving you a choice. Leave now in one piece, or I'll be sending you flying."

The Kuriyama men take one look at Orrel and Reeve, and then at Joel, and then start laughing.
"Really? Is that it? Is this all you got?"
"Do listen to my colleague. This is your last chance to leave here unharmed."
"We know who you are, Harrigan. Tch. You....you're nothing but some wannabe princeling. You're even less of a threat. What'll you do, talk us to death?"

The mildest flinch of irritation crosses Steven's face, as if he's used to this kind of treatment.
"....if you insist. Orrel, Kaya, everybody, shall we?"
"Gladly."

Reeve uses an Arcfire on the Kuriyama Captain in an attempt to prove how great she is.

The remaining Kuriyama man flinches as Orrel's war fan slaps him aside the head, sending him sprawling across the floor of the main hall.

Professor Greyhame arrives just in time to see this, a mug of coffee in his hands labeled "I Heart Teachers", his massive sword slung across his back. He eyes the groaning Kuriyama men on the floor, and then the students responsible for handing them their asses.
"....Kuriyama. Sokolov. Harrigan. What happened here?"
The Solrise Students have won the duel.

"Swift and effective judgement. I would be honored, you all experienced a first hand demonstration of Solrise's talents" Reeve commented, snapping her tome closed before returning it back underneath her cloak, turning to face Professor Greyhame with her signature, proud grin,


"It's nothing too major Professor, just some invaders who sought to disrupt our peaceful school. We found them harassing Harvey here, and dealt with them accordingly."
