If you don't know how much power you need to do something, you don't magically have the power to use exactly what you need.
[Ah, I get it. Preparing stuff takes power.
I really should have thought of that. :p
Will remove.]

Old Oak chuckles to itself while watching the ongoing fiasco.

Doraido shrugs.

Use Lifelink at magnitude 2.0, linking Goat Slime to newly made Vine Wall Petra makes.

Autumn 6, Year 1

Petra attempts to grab the leaf that is in the Goat Slime's mouth, taking 1 damage in the process. A couple scraps of the leaf are dislodged from the Goat Slime. Petra then attempts to get away by using Vinewall on himself. This does not launch him very high or far however.

The Bucket Slime moved closer to the tree... Then stopped and grabbed the Stone Bucket with handle! The Bucket Slime replaces its bucket with the stone bucket, the water inside splashes onto the ground as it does so!

Doraido attempts to Lifelink the Goat Slime to the new Random Vinewall. Despite being cast at magnitude 2.0, the Goat Slime was able to resist the lifelink affliction!

The Goat Slime is unamused, and strikes Petra. The attack wasn't dead on, but it still dealt 4 damage. The Goat Slime then goes back to chewing on what remained of the leaf in its mouth.

The Fancy Slime turns up its lack of a nose, and decided to leave the area. Perhaps the posh bloke of a slime doesn't think that your tree is good enough for it to eat!

Bucket Slime: 6/6 hp
Goat Slime: 60/60 hp

There is a shallow trench around the tree.
The tree is poorly encircled by defenses.
There are some scraps of a glowing red leaf here.

Petra

Try to absorb the energy of the glowing leaf, and use the rest of my power to smash the goat slime's head with my maul.

"Could I get some healing here?!"

Please stop from agitating the slime that can eat you in a single bite.

"What am I supposed to be doing? It'll just attack the tree!"

Feed it walls maybe? Once it's full, there should be no reason for it to eat our tree.

Then we will eventually grow strong enough to defeat it. A max power Lifelink does nothing to it.

Doraido

Lifelink 1.0 Bucket Slime and Petra.
Heal 1.0 Doraido

I'll allow you to see the results if you insist.

Autumn 7, Year 1

Petra attempts to absorb the energy from the Glowing Red Leaf, but only one mana could be recovered from the scraps of leaf that he grabbed. Petra then struck the Goat Slime with the Stone Maul to inflict 5 damage!

Doraido invokes Lifelink at magnitude 1.0 on the Bucket Slime and Petra, succeeding in establishing a connection! Doraido then heals Petra for 1 health.

It seems that whatever pacification the Goat Slime was afflicted with had wore out; possibly because someone just smacked it with a maul! The Goat Slime swallows the rest of the leaf and Headbutts Petra to deal 5 damage!

The Bucket Slime freaks out and hides under its bucket.

Bucket Slime: ?/6 hp (9/21 LL:1)
Goat Slime: 55/60 hp

There is a shallow trench around the tree.
The tree is poorly encircled by defenses.

As I noted, good job making it attack back.

Proposal: Summon Oakstance, Barkfists+Empower Spell= 4 hits.
