You are
Jacobus V Altobergen!, son of Jacobus IV and Anna Maria! Holding a rifle and wearing the deep red uniform of Rufia military since you were ten, your innate tactical skills allowed you to outsmart the Revolutionaries in the field, avenge your murdered parents and siblings, and restore your family's right to rule.
Like all seven dynasts before you, you rule the Kingdom of Rufia, a landlocked country of iron-bearing hills and wheat-growing valleys. Powerful kingdoms have controlled this area for quite few centuries in the past, exploiting the vast resources of the land, until one of the kingdoms split in two, giving birth to Rufia in the process.

But the steel production, so much needed for the constructions of artillery, firearms and cuirasses is slow compared to others - that's because Rufian mining industry is slow to adopt the wonders of Steam Engine. Whilst others are enjoying the full benefits of industrial revolution, Rufia is a bit behind in that prospect.
No wonder, the civil war lasted five years, a quarter of the Great War itself!
The Chancellor brings you the Scrolls of Kingdom Status; an ancient, prestigious set of documents, where the most important of tables and labels and axes and charts are displayed.

The Marshal arrives with a big smile on his face.
"My liege! I'm pleased to report that our forces are in process of storming the last of Revolutionary holdouts in Jarl Mountains and capturing the remaining few of their leaders. What to do with the bunch, once we get them all?"
A) "Kill. Them. ALL."
B) "Their leadership will be put before the rifles, their families exiled, and their supporters punished."
C) "Let me write them a letter. We might avoid further losses amongst our troops if only I persuade the Revolutionaries to surrender."
