Insane Child (ain't we all?)
« on: July 14, 2020, 05:39:34 am »

Hi There,
I am recently returned after a long absence. I never did get past Newbie. I am using V 0.43.05 because that is what I had left over from last time around.

I have an insane child, he couldn't do whatever his strange mood drove him to because I couldn't interpret his drawings. Now I am getting spammed by  "...cancels (whatever) : Too Insane" messages. what can I do with/about my poor child, and can I selectively clear all those announcements?
thanks

The kid will die after a while, but before that you'll get those messages, and I suspect it's concerns the storage of its clothing in its room. If that's the case you can remove the room from the kid (I suspect insane dorfs don't claim any new ones), and it might be possible to forbid the item(s) the kid is trying to do things with. Locking the kid in, e.g. by building walls around it as it stands there spamming ought to stop the spam once the last wall is built.

It's a hard life, insanity a death sentence. (sounds like humanity on this planet). Thanks

Buy some raw glass(its in a lot of strangemood schematics) and build up all the workstations you have not built up yet. To avoid this in the future.

Then, wait for starvation or get rid of psycho, immediately. Like this:
