The water bear seems aloof and indifferent to your praise. You then walk away from it and try and gather enough material for decent shelter.

You manage to construct a serviceable shelter in the valley, by one of the larger fires. Satisfied with it, for now, you drift off to sleep.

When you awake, it is early morning. Most of the fires around you have gone out, and the rain of metal has stopped. The weather is overcast.
