Does the plug only have 1 pin/hole?

(To clarify, most household plugs have 2 or 3 pins. I hope to god you don’t live in some weird country where 4 pins are the standard)

Could your item be considered a variant of a more standard item (eg. The heavy duty plugs you often see in electric ovens and industrial machinery when you compare them to normal plugs)?

No.  This is the standard variant (though there is a variant with more pins/holes).  Also, the plugs you describe as being “variants” are actually their own plugs with their own names, not merely “variants” of another plug.

This one has a specific name, too and you’ll need to specify it in order to win...
