If I scratched it with a piece of fluorite, would the fluorite wear away instead of the object?

No
((This took a bit since it could be made of different things, turns out most of the things it’s made of are softer than fluorite, probably all, unless there’s a hardwood somewhere harder than 4 on the Mohs scale (wood has a different hardness thing so it took a while to find someone asking about the hardness of hardwood)))
