But what's this!? The Troll Club Warrior roars in pain and starts dying! Miniature explosions occur on it's body, and then like a true boss unit, it dies in a spectacular explosion!! The remnant mooks scream in terror and run away before Marie has a chance to fire.

Marie lets out a loud cheer as the boss explodes into a million tiny pieces, not quite noticing the weird and tiny voice in her celebration.

"I think the wadio is cauwuing us."

Doomblob looks around for extra newspaper and the radio.

"I hear you!" T'liki cheerfully reported. "We have defeated thirty-four goblins and a troll! We have not seen the ball yet, but we'll keep looking for him!" The spider finished his response with a salute, not sure if they could see him or not.

"Phew... We did it..."

Pips serpent moves to Marie and offers her a fistbump.

"You were a key component in the Troll's defeat. Good job."

"That's great!" The radio in the escape pod buzzed. "Wait a moment..."

There were unidentified noises and few beeps. BON-BON suddenly re-appeared on the console screen, bouncing about.

"T'liki, right? Can you get everyone's credit chips and press them to the console screen?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Roger!" The giant spider turned to the others. "We're supposed to touch our credit chips to the screen, like this!" T'liki fetched his from his ankle-pouch and pressed it to the console screen.

Marie takes up Pip's offer for a fistbump with great enthusiasm, and even greater care, her armored fist coming down on Pips's decidedly normal fist with a satisfyingly soft tink., "Same to you my man." And with that settled for now, Marie quickly takes out her chip, and taps it very gently on the screen.

Pips Serpent pulls out his credit chip and holds it against the screen.

Bon-Bon on the screen started to bounce as a loading bar filled up from 0 to 100% in about three seconds.

The credit chips started to beep and flash, and holographic images started to show above the chips, shuffling one by one at rapid speeds.

Then there was a 'ding!'.

"Software update completed! HerOS 2 available for use!!"

"Can you hear me?" Liaison Officer's voice came from within the chips. "We forgot to put this upgrade on your chips earlier, and I've remembered just now. Your chips can now be used as location trackers, radio receivers, ID cards for ID scanners and also as pin-pointers for the Tele Tag system, which the Engineering is currently adding to the station systems!"

"Is the connection secured?"

"Oh, hi dad! Yes, the chips can be used to transmit data now..."

_{"Ah, oh, oops! Forgot about that!..."}

"Right. Listen up, heroes! The round creature has been last spotted in Chichirokawa Apple Park. From your position, there's no straight way to the Apple Park. You will either have to navigate your way through the Downtown's alleys and neighbourhoods or march to Chichirokawa-Atsumi Highway, and follow it all the way until you find an exit leading to Apple Park. What will it be?"
