Here is the Sol System and the Earth itself. Still some work to do before we really get rid of the detritus of the past.

But the bright future awaits us! The shipyards at Sol Station are already constructing a Kelvin-class Science Ship.

Mrs.Fedorova won't be able chart everything by herself, after all.

Our scientists are hard at work already, and while it looks like it will be ages before we do any progress, it will not.

I'm sure the nearby stars will provide for our expansion!

Mrs.Fedorova arrives at Procyon, bringing proof to the Hyperlane Disparity theory, which holds that the 'hyperlanes' are random connections, not ones based on length or proximity of stars.

Unfortunately for us, Procyon has no habitable worlds - still, more than enough places for USS Hawking to survey.

Our second Science Ship, USS Darwin, has been constructed, but we're awaiting the Leadership Plebiscite Bureau to finish gathering Credits for our next surveyor-Scientist.

Mr.Schneider has suprisingly offered to lead the ship for half the usual payment, and the LP Bureau decided him a winner.

While Mrs.Fedorova will go around the 'south', Mr.Schneider will go 'north', the duo neatly charting our immediate neighbourhood before venturing further outwards.

What do you know, brotha!! Alpha Centauri does have habitable planets!

I think some of the astronomers at Oxford Stellar Observatory will require early retirement, for their observations turned out to be whole buncha bullsh-

I mean, failures.

MAH BROTHA! ANCIENT XENOS!!

Alpha Centauri turns out to be a goldmine for all the xeno stuff, it seems!

A new Science Ship will fetch a new scientist there to excavate the 'Grunur' relics.

The knowledge of ancient xenos has been made public by state-sponsored media.

Everyone on Earth is abuzz with the news. Hopefully it will spur more youth to join the ranks of USoE!

It sure has bolstered our pioneer spirit! Ah, it's like in them Old Centuries, brotha!

Our people will boldly settle where no one has settled (except aboriginals, if there ever will be any).

Mr.Schneider has a bit of backlog when it comes to surveying Alpha Centauri.

On Earth, we're dealing with industrial lag and the slums.

I wonder why. This also makes me wonder - if them ancient xenos have been so frequent in here, where are the actual xenos of the nowadays?

Starfleet has asked us for additional Porcupine-class vessels, and we agreed to sponsor some. Just in case.

Mr.Schneider has found not one, but two habitable worlds in Yakury system!

Unfortunately, one is frozen hellhole, and other is scorching hellhole.

Meanwhile, Mrs.Fedorova is charting Sirius.

The strange displacement of it compared to Bernard's Star and Alpha Centauri further proves that hyperlanes have nothing to do with actual stellar distances.

Both Alpha Centauri and Procyon have been claimed by United States of Earth!

Mrs.de Castelnau can now begin excavations of the Grunur site.

It is time, brotha, it is time we move out into the other stars!

Obviously, the destination of the first colony ship will be Alpha Centauri III.

Mrs.Fedorova and crew of USS Hawking are breaking new scientific grounds with each surveyed star!

That woman is claiming all accolades, hopefully nothing bad will come out of it.

Whatever that dang machine is doing, we will make use of it!

One way or another!

Dubbed as 'the weirdest binary of the century', the Lavascio system, entered by USS Darwin and Mr.Schneider, will hopefully provide some interesting research opportunities.

Unwilling to name it simply 'Alpha Centauri Prime', the Landing Party Bureau (LPB, not to be confused with Leadership Plebiscite Bureau, the other LPB), turned to the public.

Somewhat predictably, Latin names were on top of the virtua-net polls, with 'Terra Nova' being the 1st by wide margin.

So be it! The new world, a new home for humanity, shall be Terra Nova Colony! The landing site was chosen far away from Grunur Ruins, as to not disturb Mrs.de Chatelnau's excavations.

This momentous occasion calls for a celebration and perhaps a monument.

Yes, a monument! A quick plebiscite has pointed the monument's location as Detroit.

Hopefully it will bring the city out of two centuries of stagnation. Maybe Detroit will even become a new cultural center of the Western Hemisphere? Who knows.

Episode 002: Survey Wonders and Chairman Elections

Surveying, and thus moving beyond, Celaeno and Yomon systems, will take Mr.Schneider and Mrs.Fedorova at least several months, if not over a year.

Perfect opportunity to expand our rule over nearby stars. Barnard's Star and Sirius have the much needed resources, so they're first targets.

Brotha!! Our first new technology since FTL drives!

Minerals are used to construct buildings and districts, and are also forged into Alloys (which are used to build starbases and starships), making it the most important resources, at least for me.

Having a big mineral income is always a good thing.

Mrs.Austin is a Materials Engineer, and I feel like letting her pursue her field of sciences. Ceramo-Metal Armor it is!

Life on a barren rock in middle of Yomon system!? Some of the younger scientists are drawing wild theories about the lifeforms.

The more conservative ones, however, are betting it on extremophile bacteria or something of the kind. Mr.Schneider's job is to find out.

Celaeno system might not be as scientifically interesting as Yomon, but lookit mineral wealth of the place!

It even has an Alloy-laden asteroid, that's just lovely.

Administrative AIs are online, helping our scientists index and catalogue various data.

We continue on with computer research, this time to give ship-board circuitry some tactical algorithms as well.

Turns out it was neither true 'lifeforms' or extremophile bacteria.

It's primitive, silicon-based rock-munchers, brotha!

The quarrelsome and minor nations of Nippon-Oceania, Siberian Union, Empire of Canada and People's Republic of Greenland have finally agreed to give up their autonomy and join United States of Earth.

The Earth, and thus, the Humanity, is truly united for the first time in history, yey!

Our society research department is then directed towards Genome Mapping, which will help create healthy individuals and thus stimulate population growth of Human species. Helps that the head of the department, Yi Yang, is a Geneticist himself.

Mrs.Fedorova finds plenty of resources, Mr.Schneider finds plenty of curiosities.

The ancient battlefield is of special interest to the Starfleet, and thus USS Darwin was called to investigate it right away.

That's almost 1.5 years of investigation!

Mrs.Fedorova was told to finish the survey of Celaeno system first, before pursuing this interesting astrophysical phenomenon.

Celaeno system turns to be a mineral goldmine, just look at the resources. What's better, Mrs.Fedorova has found some exotic Rare Crystals in there, too.

Acquisition and exploitation of Celaeno has been put as priority target for our constructor ship, once its done with Sirius system.

With the survey out of the way, Mrs.Fedorova and crew of USS Hawking has been ordered to investigate the anomaly they've found earlier.

Hui Kong has sent his first Archeological Report to the authorities in Sol.

Turns out, the Grunur have met something called 'Baol Organism', and the meetings seem to have been of violent kind.

We continue to develop our Expansion traditions.

Less costs = more systems claimed in the long run!

O-ho!

The ancient battlefield might have actually valuable scraps to sift through. Mr.Scheinder will launch the expedition as soon as he is done with Yomon system survey.

Mr.Schneider is sure a busy man nowadays, brotha! Or just plain lucky.

This anomaly will be pursued at once.

Mr.Schneider learns what happens if you pollute your planet too much. Mrs.Fedorova finds out that the moon-gas giant collision is about to occur sooner than anticipated, and we're now on a timer.

Fortunately, she has nothing else scheduled to do at the moment, so she and her crew is free to observe the imminent impact.

It seems that we might be pushing Mrs.Fedorova a bit too hard, for there are reports that she is procuring more painkillers and hard liquor from Starfleet Quartermaster Department than usual.

We hope that she can fight off this unfortunate and detrimental habit.

Well, that's a LOT of minerals we need to spend!

Chairman Roosevelt decrees emergency selling of alloys and consumer goods to buy minerals from independent trading companies.

The moon-gas giant collission event is transmitted on academic virtua-net and becomes the 4th most watched science event of the decade.

WE gain valuable insights into astrophysics thanks to it, and Mrs.Fedorova feels smarter, too. She departs to the only uncharted system nearby - which turns to be Sieagawa system.

The amount of outpost we have is becoming a drain on our Energy Credits.

This should help a little bit. It will also enhance Chairman Roosevelt's chances to keep with his political agenda of Energy Production (20 or more EC income at end of term).

Sifting through the battlefield turned out to give us nothing of importance.

Mr.Scheider however recommends construction an outpost that would analyze the debris for engineering data.

But, with the battlefield at Yomon and the polluted planet, some Holo-Vid authors are already making light novels about the ancient civilizations that brought Yomon to such a sorry state.

You can always count on them fanfic writers to make up the weirdest stuff, man.

BROTHA!! The Baol actually lived near Earth!?

Communities on the Earth are abuzz with the news, meanwhile Mr.Kong has been ordered to investigate Procyon III at once.

Election campaigns have begun in United States of the Earth, and first time we have 3 ladies vying for control of the prestigious position of a Chairman!

Despite his energetic and fortunate tenure, Chairman J.T.Roosevelt has only a small lead over other candidates, even with the Central Commitee's direct support.

Everyone in USoE is watching the elections with great anticipation.

We have to note with great delight that Mr.Yong is a very dutiful and speedy researcher.

Genome Mapping has been done, and now he is off to head Biodiversity Studies of the Society department.

Oh brotha, great political upset is washing over the United States! Chairman Robert J.T.Roosevelt failed to be re-elected, and instead Governor Clarisse Dubois has been voted as his successor!

A slight titulature mishap occured, too. That's because Central Committee, led by men for all 30 years of its existence, forgot to prepare the paperwork for an eventual takeover by a woman. That error has been fixed and the Commitee issued a formal apology to Chairwoman Dubois.

Following the lost elections, Mr.Roosevelt has decided to retire from political scene and settled down in rural Canada.

On the backdrop of the upset elections, Mr.Yong sends a report of his investigation.

Procyon III is a Baol site alright, and an archeological expedition might yield some answers.

Chairwoman Dubois personally ordered him to oversee the excavation at the Procyon III site.

System surveys bring news of abundant mineral wealth just outside our reach.

The Committee have decided to commission a 2nd Construction Ship, so we can claim and exploit two systems at once.

Not long afterwards, we receive a priority message from Mrs.Fedorova:

Episode 003: Tales of Distant Worlds

The up-to-recent centralization of power under the Commitee has left many people disgruntled over the years, and election of Chairwoman Dubois spurned them into action.

Majority of the citizenry now supports the newly established 'Free Citizen Association' Party, and whilst the USoE agrees with most of their issues, resettlement and population migration will remain for decision of the Commitee.

Gotta help unemployeds find a new workplace elsewhere, after all!

Not only an enigmatic, hyperspace Gateway was found in Distmak system, but the moon of Distmak III has a stable atmosphere, potable water and lush green scenery!

Such a randomly found, habitable planet has utterly crushed the formulas of scientists from 21st century, who posited that such worlds might be almost impossible to find.

Our Expansion tradition tree has been completed!

Not only that, we now unlock one Ascension perk. An united Mankind will achieve greater heights than one that is marred with instability and decentralization.

One Species, One Unity, brotha!

USS Hawking, commanded by Mrs.Fedorova, has finished the survey, and we're placed with a dilemma.

The network down there is quite sprawling and goes in two opposite directions. A new Science Ship has been commisioned.

It will be lead by Orietta Lombardi, a genius prodigy from Italy.

What did we just write about singular will and purpose??

Funnily enough, while elements of the Starfleet founded 'Path To Victory Commitee', they aren't able to field a party leader.

Unlike the United Earth scientists. At least they have a proper leader amongst their ranks!

Mr.Schneider continues to not disappoint us!

This anomaly looks extra interesting. Maybe some exotic metals are down there, ripe for taking?

The thing that crew of USS Darwin has discovered wasn't exotic metal, but a mural.

As the mural ain't going anywhere, Mr.Schneider was ordered to translate it after he is done surveying Ackolam System.

Ceramo-Metal Armor is out for production.

Unfortunately, our Engineering Research techniques are a bit behind when compared to other departments, even when boosted by Bunker-Bot's calculations.

We need to fix that, and fast.

Turns out that the Grunur didn't like the Baol very much.

The excavation continues, and hopefully Mrs.Kong can discover more coordinates for even more Grunur/Baol locales.

The elderly admirals at their desk were unwilling to govern the fledling 1st Fleet.

A young hotshot from Beijing, Tian Deng, gladly accepted the proposition to become 1st Fleet's Commander.

Mrs.Lombardi's report on Trabbur II has been concluded thusly:

"If Humanity ever requires a planetary Nursery, or perhaps a tropical Resort planet, Trabbur II is prime candidate."

The mural itself has been made of some sort of xeno-marble, as Mr.Schneider calls it.

Our engineering department sure loves xeno-materials to research!

With that project out of the way, USS Darwin can finally leave Ackolam after, what, 3 years spent there? Onwards!

Despite being few months behind Society Department, the Physicians of USoE have managed to reach the finish line along with them!

These are the topics our Physics and Society departments will pursue.

Our food income is low, and our Physics research is the one behind now that valuable research stations at Yomon provide +9 to Engineering.

From political news; the politically-minded Path to Victory has elected 1st Fleet Admiral, Tian Deng, as their leader!

A thinking asteroid!!

Xenosociologists at Earth closed down the shop, citing that 'they're unable to theoretize anything for every new system surveyed out there crushed their theories to dust."

Escape Protocol has been initiated by USS Hawking and the resultant priority alert has rustled quite a few politicians down on Earth.

While the 'Lamias' simply locked their sensors on our Science Ship, this act alone was enough to force Mrs.Fedorova to retreat ot Sutrak's Maw Black Hole.

She has been ordered to survey some other nearby system as our Sociologists try to decipher 'Lamias's language, if they have any.

Mr.Schneider was ordered not to pursue his usual habits, and disassemble the machine for parts.

We need both the materials and software for research!

Mankind was always about exploration. About sea voyages and scientific progress.

Curiosity drove us thus far, and it will continue to do so!

Discovery Traditions have been unlocked - soon, all of Humanity's best minds will provide for its interests!

USS Darwin found a frozen tentacle alien!

We will keep the samples for future use. Who knows, mayhaps we can recreate the strange creature for our own purposes?

Absurdly gigantic calamari have been found 'swimming' in the Amor Alveo system!

These abominations send off energy readings that made Mrs.Lombardi and her crew aboard USS Lagrange pack their bags and leave immediately.

Starfleet has declared the system 'no-fly' zone for current and all future spaceflights.

'Lamias' have turned out to be some automated mining drones abandoned by some long-gone spacefaring civilization.

Such automated systems could be of use, alas, the time needed to crack their secrets is tad too long.

Meanwhile, our Xenobiologists will try to understand the biology of the 'Jinkies', the space calamari from Amor Alveo system.

BROTHA!! Forget the 'Jinkies'!!

Here we have 'Angels', who seem to actually be spacefaring aliens with their own spaceships!

All of the Humanity awaited this moment - a spacefaring alien civilization have been found! Both teh alien ship and USS Hawking scanned each other and tried to send messages, to no avail.

Our Society Department is currently hastingly trying to process the alien language.

USS Hawking did not wait for establishment of xeno-communications, and moved to investigate the space system from which the alien vessel came.

Turns out, they've already built their stations here. Mrs.Fedorova was ordered to calmly approach the planets and not disturb the aliens.

The last thing we need is a tragic first contact scenario straight out of the late 21st century video game, 'Mass Effect XIII'.

Our first extra-solar Starbase have been built in Sieagawa!

Mostly because surrounding systems have quite a lot of commercial activity, both current and prospective.

Trade hubs at Sieagawa Station could bring big profits from the local commerce.

Yet another cluster which superlanes split off after a while in few directions! Mr.Schneider won't be able to survey all these alone.

Another Kelvin-class Science Ship is under construction. Fernanda Hermandez, recent top graduate of Mexico City Academy of Astrophysics, will comandeer the vessel.

Several members of the Society Research Department have been fired for a mishap that resulted in postponement of 'Angels' study until AFTER Jinkies are studied.

Oh well.

The Space Amoebas, as they're now commonly called by both military and civilian staff, are nothing but overgrown space pests.

Declared a hazard to spacefaring vessels, these 'Amoebas' will be hunted and destroyed.

Further insubordination in Sciences, brotha!!

Mrs.Fedorova, ordered to go towards galactic edge, instead went to the star she thought might host 'Angels' homeworld.

And she was right. USS Hawking is now surveying the aliens' home planets, and Chairwoman Dubois is doing her best to attend every press conference on topic of 'Angel Aliens'.

Meanwhile, our Baol Organism Project is continuing.

Results suggest they were not only organisms themselves, but even their tools were organic in substance.

A certain fear has showed up in the Commitee's minds. What if the aliens get to Human-habitable planets first?

They wish to speed up Humanity's expansion into local stars, and earlier than assumed, are sending our a colony ship to Dristmak IIIa.

A rushed virtua-net poll found a name for the new colony: Olympia, after one of cities located in southern parts of the Balkan Federation.

Our Engineering department has finished their work on Nanomechanics, and now they want to pursue Assembly Patterns.

You can't have military might without industrial power first, brotha!

They were given green light to pursue this topic.

Episode 004: To Boldly Go Where No-One Has Gone Before

Obviously, the first meeting with these 'Buvhondonese' fungoids didn't go without an echo on Earth.

As they're our first and so far only intelligent neighbours, the Commitee and Chairwoman Dubois sent our lose xeno-enboy, Anvi Kutty, as a goodwill ambassador to the xenos.

It takes two weeks for the relations to sour rapidly! USS Hawking goes missing as the Buvhondonese stations begin jamming communications and denying us FTL entry.

Central Commitee is negotiating with the shrooms, but the populace is more concerned about fate of Doctor Fedorova and her ship.

Meanwhile, Mrs.Fernandez investigates her first anomaly - an ancient solar sail-powered ship.

It does us nothing but boost our Engineering research a bit.

Shortly afterwards, the USS Hawking returns to Sol system. After debriefing, it has been decided that Mrs.Fedorova will assist research at Earth academics for now.

We want to explore systems outside Buvhondonese, but that requires effort from our envoy and diplomats first.

Dr.de Castelnau proposes three topics in Physics department - all of them to do with Computers.

Not a surprise there. Ultimately, on Chairwoman Dubois' personal nudging, Automated Exploration Protocols are being pursued next.

Mrs.Fernandez makes a first contact with species codenamed 'Hobgoblins!'. The media soon disseminated the news to the public.

The latest closure of borders with Buvhondonese and the 'Hobgoblins' ship's design called 'menacing' by fashion experts does not endear xenos to the public.

Society Research Department has been tasked with attempting to crack the new aliens' language at once.

Once again, Mr.Schneider arrives on the first pages of tabloids!

He and his crew on USS Darwin have found a miraculous new substance on Bir IIIa, dubbed 'Zro'. Apparently it has psi-enhancing properties.

Mayhaps down the line we will tap into power of the mind control itself?

Starfleet has just announced that, in light of recent xeno-hostility, we need stronger vessels than our basic Porcupines.

A missile boat with Ceramo-Metal dual-hull, the Katyusha, has been sent to the Sol Starbase.

Order has been put to build a total of 4 Katyushas to reinforce the 1st Fleet, which currently has 13 Porcupines in its roster.

Sound of Science? Science: The Musical?

Whatever it is, it is apparently highly catchy.

The sound pattern was sent to Research Archives to prevent further addictions within the Science departments.

The menacing ship found in Bir system belongs to Cynur Enlightened Kingdom!

It is an elective monarchy, and its feathered xenos are all about spreading technological progress across the galaxy!

There has been courtesy exchange of greetings and cultural artifacts. Chairwoman Dubois herself is hoping for establishment of stronger diplomatic ties with Cynur, whom apparently already did so with some other spacefaring races.

The colonists of Olympia have arrived on Dristmak IIIa!

In holo-vid speech, Chairwoman Dubois wished them strength and luck in colonizing this lush, yet remote and distant world.

Despite his optimism, the news about space pirates only worry our peoples more.

These wretched curs have went right after the outpost controlling Celaneo system!

Despite the outpost's crew best efforts, and destruction of one of pirate ships, the pirates are winning.

The outpost fell and its crew has been massacred.

Fortunately, the 1st Fleet under command of Admiral Deng has arrived shortly after.

Just the first salvo from Katyushas' missile arrays blown up one of the corvettes with ease!

The Battle of Celaeno II was a tremendous victory for the 1st Fleet and the United States' government in general.

Only one Porcupine-class Corvette has been destroyed. It's crew, and all those who perished in pirates' assault, have been immortalized with a holo-gravestone orbiting the volcanic planet.

The victory has been used by the Starfleet to point out our Porcupine-class' weaknesses.

Therefore, it has been decided: An upgrade is needed!!

Glad to see you're doing an LP for Stellaris. It's a game that really could benefit from another LP, especially if you can get to the Endgame.

Episode 005: The Admiral and the Madmen

The 1st Fleet was about to leave Celaeno system, when a distress call from a mining station gave us coordinates for the pirate's hidden base.

It was obliterated, and we got some resources out of it. Very nice.

The fleet was ordered to get back to Earth for repairs, and a refit of the old Porcupines into the Model II.

Turns out the people of Lavascio didn't just disappear - they've migrated underground!

While some xenobiologists are thrilled with prospect of meeting vaulted aliens, most of research department is vastly skeptical that any of the aliens survived.

Sunrays-gathering bacteria? That's new.

I doubt the power output of such bacteria could have use for the military.

Maybe energy production facilities will benefit from the bacterial research more?

Now we have bacteria-shaped solar panels.

I'm allright with that!

Olympia colony is up and running, and can now begin building of industrial and urban districts!

The local vegetation is quite robust, but I'm sure we can find the ways to deal with it later.

The planet is too far for Sol's administration to properly govern it. A new Sector 'Olympia', has been set up.

It is a republican bunch of bureaucrats and firm believers in science and meritocratic values.

Chairwoman Dubois have made peaceful overtures toward the Velutarians. Hopefully they will repay in kind.

With the survey of the continental world of Uxplorix III, the Habitable Systems Survey Project has been completed!

The rewards are okay, but I hoped for more.

An asteroid is on direct path to Olympia colony!

There is a general Emergency declared for the Olympia Sector, and people of Earth are very distressed about this!

1st Fleet of Admiral Tian Deng has been sent to intercept and destroy the asteroid. The 1st Fleet has just recently finished up their Porcupine refits.

We can still forcibly evacuate and resettle the population. If the big rock gets too close, we shall evacuate and abandon Olympia altogether.

Cynur and Velutarian diplomats have approached the Commitee with a quite noble idea - one of creating a 'Galactic Community'.

It would be a forum to discuss matters and one to determine the fate of galaxy.

Humans, as always, love political thingies, and we agreed to support the endeavour.

Our diplomatic efforts towards the Cynur have paid off!

The feathered monarchists have re-opened their borders to our ships. Perhaps there can be understanding and peace between our two races.

Pushing the engines of his ships and abilities of his officers to the limits, Admiral Tian Deng manages to intercept the asteroid!

Using nuclear warheads to shatter the asteroid's surface and then lasers to vaporize the resultant chunks, 1st Fleet should be done with the space rock within few weeks.

Olympia colony has been saved! And we get minerals out of it!

Hailed as heroes, the 1st Fleet under command of Admiral Tian Deng is returning to earth to receive a parade.

Starfleet's demand to increase the size of 1st Fleet has been approved by Chairwoman Dubois; four Porcupine-II's and four Katyushas will be added to Admiral Deng's force.

Episode 006: Meet Your Neighbours

Galactic Community binds nearly all sentient, FTL-capable species, into one place.

Who are they? Friends? Enemies?

Definitely one of the chillest races out there. They believe in democracy, like us!

Chairwoman Dubois had borders of United States of Earth opened for the Hahn-Mur.

Themlari are almost identical to us! Well, except being arthropoids.

The fact that they're Spiritualists and not Materialists might cause some problems somewhere in the future.

Still, we make the first friendly gesture. Borders open!

Bakturians are rather warlike... I mean, just look at all those casus bellis!

Chairwoman Dubois still believe that we can find common ground in our Militarism, and opens borders for Bakturian ships.

Apparently there are 2 Themlari spacefaring civilizations, and this one is a splinter colony.

Doubly Egalitarian with a dash of Spiritualism...

The Commitee believes it will do more good to keep borders closed for them right now.

We could proudly declare them our ARCH-NEMESISES, if not for the fact that these guys would rather keep to themselves.

I assume the unindetified Empires they have rivaled are some sort of Hive Minds, Machine Intelligencies or some other sort - we don't need to meet these guys at all.

I don't believe there will ever be reason to mingle with Backattas. Next!

Nonetheless, Chairwoman Dubois decided to inform our neighbours about the wreck, hoping that this will help with our somewhat cold relationship with the fungi.

This Resolution sparked lots of debate in Earth's governmental circles, but ultimately we've decided to back up this Resolution.

Also you can see that now someone wants to eradicate Tiyanki, believing they're space hazards.

Meanwhile, we're dumbfounded about what a Tiyanki even is. Are there some space animals roaming the stars that everyone BUT us knows about??

The freighter's cargo we've found earlier was returned to Buhvondonese.

They're obviously grateful, but what we're more glad to see is that +100 Influence.

Time to claim more systems for Humanity's sake!

USS Lagrange have found an automated shipyard in middle of nowhere! Mrs.Lombardi believes we can repair it.

As luck has it, USS Shenandoah at Manhall system is about to finish construction of the mining stations there.

We will send it to repair the derelict shipyard.

Finally some progress at Fomalhaut's archeologic site!

Took Dr.Kong quite some time to send this report.

Hopefully the remainder of the excavation will go much faster than this.

We were worried that we would've back up Tiyanki Conservation Act or Comfort the Fallen, but turns out Readied Shield was the most popular one.

Not only we will get the bonuses of the Galactic Law, we will also get that juicy +100 Influence reward for helping push it through. Splendid!

There are Amoebas in the system that is the only way out of the cluster west from Fomalhaut.

I mean, it's only few Amoebas, but the pests need to be dealt with. Mrs.Schneider was ordered to skirt about the system and warp out, whilst 1st Fleet will go over and deal with the space pests.

Anti-discrimination and anti-exploitation laws were enacted nearly Earth-wide after the Lost Decades.

It is a good measure to keep worker class happy with these, and Humanity believes it would do good to implement these laws Galaxy-wide, too.

This strange, mysterious, enigmatic, toy-producing facility will perhaps always remain a strange, mysterious enigma.

Why you ask? Simples - Menok II is a glacier-covered Arctic world. We will settle there probably never.

Mr.Schneider also reports that one pack of Amoebas left the system, but 1st Fleet will still try to hunt them down.

Fusion Power is in our hands!!

But the Physics Research Department is woefully behind Society and Engineering right now.

Dr.de Castelnau was reinstated as head of Physics department and begin her work on computational Quantum Theory.

Unfortunately, the Cynur made a wrong move and closed their borders for us.

So be it - the Cynur won't have access to the States' systems as well!

Civics difference. If you have as little as one opposite civic (Materialism - Spiritualism, Militarism - Pacifism, Egalitarian - Authocratic), it tends to sour initial relations. Borders open/closed is the first sign your relations are improving/deteriorating. Xenophiles like almost everybody and Xenophobes hate almost everybody, with mutual hatred being the most intense.

Cynur being Materialists and Xenophiles is marred by the fact that they're in fact an Elective Monarchy, which is classified as Dictatorship, a mildly-Authocratic governmental option.
