is there a way to sell furniture? i'm back to DF and kinda forgot if you can sell low quality furniture to merchants

Yes, you can. However, I've never found which standard category they'd be in, so I always have to use the search function for one type at a time (I don't think the search function is a DFHack addition, but can't guarantee it).

I play vanilla and keep a low quality furniture stockpile by my trade depot and use the "All" section to get the things closest to the depot and sell off my furniture that way.

i believe that for most furniture types, "All" is the only category they appear in. i also usually search, unless furniture is one of my core exports, in which case i stockpile it near the trade depot so it's at the top of the list
