Scaled screens and fullscreen
« on: May 22, 2020, 11:24:44 pm »

I'm running windows 10 on a surface pro. This means the screen is scaled 200%. When DF is made full-screen there is a corner of the play area in the top-left of the screen.

Are there settings to fix this? Or is it some sort of bug?

In Explorer or on the Start menu, right-click the application name, select Properties, select the Compatibility tab, and then select the Disable display scaling on high DPI settings check box.

Note

In Windows 10 Version 1703 and later version of Windows, the text of the Disable display scaling on high DPI settings option is changed to Override high DPI scaling behavior, scaling performed by: Application.

Changing that setting is great and all for fixing full-screen. But now everything is so small in both windowed and full-screen. Guess I now have to download the nadigal tileset or something.

The game comes with alternative larger tilesets (16x16 curses for example). Use one of those, or as you say, download another.
