To Queen Phillipa the Fourth,

As an investor in the recently lost Yarnu expedition, I feel it is my responsibility to do something for the families of those who lost their lives aboard said vessel. While my associates make monetary donations, I seek to make a 'donation' to the cause in the form of a polite request to the Crown. I suggest that a day of remembrance be established, in the month of High Summer, where your majesty says a few words to honour those lost at sea. Knowing that the Crown cares for them is sure to alleviate their sense of loss every year. It is my belief that this would benefit the nation, with only a minor effort on the Crown's part. Your consideration of this matter is a Favour to me.

I'll go ahead and buy 15% shares in West Wind from Vixen for a total of 1.65 Guineas.

As stated, I'll take one of the loans next month.


Sharks and Loans! I will likely be requesting a 4 to 5 guinea loan (depending on ship prices) next month to own the whole ship with the 6 guinea loan from the crown. 10% interest rate, 6 months (ish. Prefer to state in 2 shipments), unless others have more competitive offers. Would you be willing to go for that if you have the funds? I can write up a contract with specifics if you'd like for your perusal if requested.
Quick calculations tell me that an average price of .4 for sand with no problems would pay off even a 5 guinea loan in 2 shipments.
