I'd imagine lots of SPAMKINGDOM players are not fond of the Damedians for what they did in previous games... Myself included... but B.

Our leader is wise, and as such should be interacting with religious stuff as much as possible, and these guys are called the Martialists... which implies there is a slight chance they might have something to say about our military issues.

No, we are Glennuaine. To the east of Koi, nestled betwixt two mountain ranges in the Tiftit Valley, ancient home of the hurthlings.

Lands originally civilized and claimed for humanity by Cyl the Great, the most accomplished Player Character in SPAMKINGOM history, if I'm not mistaken. Also, if I recall correctly, our rulers from that game are the ones who gave the dwarves permission to set up one or both of the fortresses that are our neighbors.

The Damedians enter. They bear themselves in Damdamian togas and capes, and strange sigils adorn their necks and foreheads.

"Damed bless you, King Eyrdri! We, followers of the Martialist Way, have been oppressed by the orthodox rulers of Lametania. Our fellows, our families, our sympathizers are put into dungeons simply because our view upon divinity of Father Damed is different than of those currently in power. We seek aid, and if you can't provide it, at least a place for our peoples to settle in."

A) "Fool heathens! Begone at once!"
B) "I will give you food, arms and money, so that you can wage a shadow war agaisnt the vile Lametanians!"
C) "You're welcome to settle down in Glennuaine. We have more than enough space."

You invite them for a theological discussion so that you can judge them better. The priests seem excited to have met a scholarly dynast!

You don't learn much beyond core tenets that you already knew - the Martialists, starting with Theo the Martyr, have posed the Seven Truths about Damed the Father, most of them invalidating his divinity as well as historiagraphy, presenting him as a legendary warrior who was deified, rather than the supreme god of mankind and all universe. One of Truths also points that there's nothing about purging of non-humans in the ancient texts of Damedian priesthoods, which is in conflict with the current Damedian sayings.

The Martialism, unsurprisingly, has taken strong roots in the war-minded Damdamian culture. It has caused the Holy Damdamian Empire to cease to exist as their Emperor, Oion II, has became a Martialist, which caused several of his subservient states to secede and for Senatorial Damdamia to declare war. But the split has already occured and since late 1200s, more than 1/3rd of the Southerners have rejected Damed's innate divinity.

But time comes to end this pleasant chatter on theological matters. The visitors anxiously await your decision...

A) These Damedian heretics are enligthened and just people! We should support their cause as best as we can!
B) Their presence here will draw attention from the warlike nations of the south. We should get rid of them as soon as possible!
C) I see no danger in letting these people come and live in Glennuaine. If anything, their culture might even enrich our own.
