Trading depot request
« on: April 12, 2020, 06:42:52 am »

Why should use this : No trader needed at depot ?
There will be always a trader needed at the depot, but by a broker(only broker(noble)  may trade option ) or other dorf (anyone may trade option)

Suppose if there is "no trader needed at the depot" options is valid : any no "trading" skilled dorf can trade ?

Confusing this ..

If you mean that you're trying to request the broker and is told there is no need, it means there are no traders to trade with, either because there aren't any on the map, because they haven't finished unloading, they are leaving, or something has scared them away from using the depot properly.

There is also an option to let anyone trade, in which case requesting a broker will call on any of the dorfs.

An unskilled trader results in prices not being shown, but that's about the only difference.

"No trader needed at depot" means you aren't requesting your broker (or any other dwarf) to head to the depot. If you're still bringing goods to the depot, or have already finished trading, there's no need for them to waste their time there.
