Sit down in the proffered chair.
"Salutations! Could you tell me about your mirror?"

Glass is, as usual, correct.
Yep, as ever, I bestow upon Glass the expected +1
I'm gonna say we go with whatever Glass's idea is.

You take in the scenery around you, and...

...take a bow. "I apologize for my abrupt entrance, madam. I find myself rather new still to the nuances of this land."

Sit down in the proffered chair.
"Salutations! Could you tell me about your mirror?"

"Uh, what?" --Heline the starfish-thing, 5 seconds, 5 minutes, 5 hours after creation.Heline takes a moment to get their bearings, and simply says.. "Well, take a look in the mirror yourself. That's all I can say."
They pull out one of the filing cabinet drawers, and pull out a clay tablet, blank, and begin filling it out... "Listen carefully. You are Afidil, clay pegazebraman.. Creator god... Eamg-termas, I believe... And that's mostly what you'll need to know. I'm afraid I am not permitted to tell you more."
As you listen, you...

Look in the mirror.

"We're Eamg-termas?"

"Hem.. No. Eamg-termas is your creator. Anyways.. Please move along, I have another half dozen and three creations to assist into being." Heline points a long arm at the doorway, it seems you'll need to stretch it open. You can hear the faint noise of chatter from beyond the door. The clock above the door ticks: 9 Minutes left til 0. You get the faint feeling something's wrong.

+1 but let’s not call them abominations, instead say “Hello, fellow creatures of clay, I am new here and would like to learn more about the world we share” look around the place we find ourselves in

I’d like to note that we did ask to check the mirror last turn.

don’t we know what we look like, given we chose our form? A bipedal zebra with wings whose front hooves are hands?

Yes you did, and your GM cannot read. Sorry! I'll do it this turn.

You know some of what you look like.

You shall do that, but first... GM pretends they didn't miss a beat, and you look into the mirror.
It shimmers, and you see yourself, a pegazebraman, standing a few inches tall (You are a Plasticine clay figurine after all), with eyes of blue and brown. You have 55 stripes, and are of the white-on-black variety. You have hooves for feet, and an odd, tube-with-two-ovals-attached0 head, not really a man, more of a clay humanoid, with detail suitable for your size. You have a brown belt about your waist, and a silvery, seemingly hardened clay belt buckle.1
Heline2 watches as you pull open the door to leave. You step out into a manilla colored hallway, and are presented with 5 paths to choose from, in 5 colors. Red, Blue, Green, Brown, and White. From these paths you choose...

0. May be retconned in the future, as modelling heads is hard and picking a good style is harder. The world itself is of a mixed style, so the real stylistic problem is the player character.
1. I'm not modeling that :o No way. That kind of clay is like $200 a pack and would require me to own a kiln. I just wanted you all to have a fancy belt buckle
2. I forgot to mention. Heline's hot pink.
