We didn't really think you were mad NG, it was a reference to Alice in Wonderland, in which a Mad Hatter says "we're all mad here," meaning insane.

And of course the initial account type is "Escaped Lunatic..."

I know what the reference is, I just wasn’t thinking of it at the time. I saw the movies. I thought someone said something about Ocra being mad at the GM, meaning angry. I was still thinking it was referring to that form of mad, and forgot the second definition of it

It was also the Cheshire Cat, actually.  Although it might have been different in one of the dozens of adaptations.
