Ah, I was going to suggest having another shot at invading Lu together, but that can wait until next turn.

I don't think you can give grain in this version, and I don't think your 2 invested from before will follow over to this turn... But never mind. You'll still have invested a good amount.

It was because I accidentally invested 5 grain when I only needed to invest 3, so sending the 1 grain was to balance it out

Well damn, dude.  I offered to ally and work together on Turn 1, but you blew me off.  Hell, I'd even be willing to work together now, but you've already gone and ordered an attack on me so now I have to spend rice defending Zheng.  Wtf, man.

Mostly as a Legalist State, I am obligated to capture capitals for my power to work. Had it worked, I could force you on the defensive until I captured your capital.

Instead, I rolled a Nat 1.. So I'm the one on the defense. C'est la vie..

I did send my action in during the first hours of the turn, so..

Zheng is next to both your capital and Zhou, so it would have proven very useful had I managed it. +15 Rice upon becoming an Empire, with it being +20 after Zhou was captured. Not to mention the 20 rice from the other areas and the 5+7 from the capitals..

10+20+20+12=62 Rice to spend at the end of it all. And I could then go through Tang to Chu for another 15. Lot of Rice...
