I assigned a hunting dog, but it seems to be disappeared ?..no trace of whatsoever to find ..or do i miss something?
Can it be eaten by a wild animal outside ?

Hunting dogs often end up fighting with wildlife while following their owners on hunting trips. Depending on what they are fighting, they can get themselves killed very easily in the process.

If you can't find the dog and haven't gotten any notifications about its death, then it's likely that it died fighting some wildlife and your dwarves haven't found its body yet. In that case, it would be listed as Missing in the unit list screen (u) under Dead/Missing.

Did you check and find no combat report about the dog fighting?

Yes, i forget to  look there .. the hunting dog has been found dead( by the dwarves somewhere ?) ( the dead dog patial skeleton is now in the meeting hall : not a appropriate place )
