Sludge can rain down in evil areas in DF sometimes, and carry nasty syndromes. Not aware of any areas in Orid Xem that have that though...

Really? That's actually rather surprising.

Maybe scratch the ooze then Maloy?

First museum game had "heinous sludge" for example, but that one had a lot of areas with evil weather that turned people into husks or worse.  I think the area around Purplefrothy / Homesafe in our current world has some kind of mist and associated red dust that turns people to thralls, but other than that the evil areas in this world seem very tame. I don't think I've seen sludge/slush anywhere.

One of my forts, Northmanor, included some of an evil mountain biome. It rained "malodorous goo" which apart from giving the dwarves a bad thought and smelling bad, didn't seem to have any syndrome attached to it. Most of the evil rain in Orid Xem seems to be dwarf blood, which is kind of gnarly.

So if you fancy a quest up North, you might find some malodorous goo...

Indeed, there are wandering clouds of husk gas which surround PurpleFrothy.

The Plan™ was to package the material its comprised of into flasks, and then export that shit out to the whole of Orid Xem.
Have each of the individual purple flasks be decorated with the same identical logo (for brand recognition, and have it be some kind of new addictive and highly dangerous brand name beverage of some sort, which would then become the latest new craze.

I'm dropping the incomplete save now

I really only played like a day and spent the rest of the time surfing old forum posts about dfhack and what not
]
I'd like to pick up again and finish after dikbut saves my character
https://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=17343

also international battles are heating up

most sin took player fortress of drinkstasis and killed every single person there
Walled Dye killed a human bandit fort of fluteddish and occupied it

I think the international scene is really coming down to its major players overworld wise

Yeah I think it was a feral hollow zombie attack.

I'm not sure if its a glitch or unique to the Hollow Zombie curse, but a lot of them seem to degenerate and attack anyone around them.

Their are several of them patrolling around ringboot and Makbor as asterisks and will attack anyone they see.

EDIT: I guess its also possible they're part of one of the three insurrections that are trying to conquer Makbor and thus hostile to anyone Walled Dye related including me

okay trying again dikbut: https://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=17344

On the ingredients

-I got you rats. A LOT OF RATS. Like 30? Anyway you didn't like the rats and set half of your camp on fire. No casualties or destroyed buildings. Some rats survived and some are zombies now. Also you kept flicking your finger at one so it would squirm in agony which I'm pretty sure is a war crime in elf lands
-I spent weeks and weeks in Northmanor with no goo rain. I got you a Warrior of Udir though. She has goo for blood
-Normally finding a child in this world is near impossible, but conveniently and for reasons I won't disclose yet, Ringboot has an insane amount of children so I got you a goblin kid for nervous tissue and pancreas. Sad problem: I butchered many children in an attempt and not a single one dropped nervous tissue?!? See for yourself I dropped a kid off at your camp and told him he would be the next goblin master, but if you cut him open you won't find any nervous tissue! Like what?!
-Mummy curse. We did quite a lot of experimenting with mummy curses and for some reason all of this world's mummies are experiencing curse dysfunction. Each one swears this never happens to them, but anytime they try to curse someone it fails! We tried defiling the tombs first. We even sank a tomb into the magma sea! Apparently that was not considered "disturbed" enough for a mummy curse to work?! One of the mummies was sent to Honeyhammer to answer for herself

Pictured: A mummy in Honeyhammer contemplating her fate as she stares out at the horizon

Pictured: A goblin child and rat flee side by side from a pack of zombie rats while dragon-emperor dikbut tortures one in the distance

I hope we can bring my guy back in this timeline without starting a whole new historical figure or whatever. I had fun doing these antics, and have crafted a story outline of why and what was going on. So I'd like it to work out lol
