I'd like to start over from scratch with the Museum IV.

Edit: n/a

Though the post is now n/a, I'd like to thank you for the offer.

I can not imagine the amount of effort would be justifiable though. The contents of the museum are an enormous mess and scattered all over the place. Some contributions have come to life and wandered off, others have been consumed or simply dissapeared. Also the labels that have been applied (in the second post of the topic) are hardly of any help. Best to start from a clean sheet in the next game and just provide a link to our previous adventures I think.

The map has been updated with the new fortresses that were added while I was away:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

86: Oceanmaster the Gilded Bridge The Gilded Bridge connects the Island of Clouting to the mainland.
87: Bloodspire the Crimson Bastion Founded in 1121 by the Bloody Hand.
88: Lullmischief The latest addition to the wall, added in 1129. (constructed by Dikbutdagrate)
89: Purplefrothy Founded by the Hungry Fiend of Honey in 1129. (constructed by Dikbutdagrate)
90: Ringboot Founded in 1153 by the roads of war.

I'm not sure who build what, but I could guess a few. If anyone has information on the others let me know so I can give proper credit.
Based on the years skipped between the building projects, I guess a lot of time was spend on unretired fortresses, but this is difficult to check. Let me know if anything is missing.

Oceanmaster the Gilded Bridge: The seafaring dwarves of The Salty Dog from the Staff of Kissing embarked on an enormous gold deposit and built a literal golden bridge across the sea to the Island of Clouting. (Constructed by Kesperan)

Bloodspire the Crimson Bastion: a tower crafted of bloodstained cinnabar in the reanimating haunted wastes by the Bloody Hand of the Staff of Kissing with a plan of harvesting sliver barbs for the incredibly rare black dye. Beware the undead ogres! (Constructed by Kesperan)

Ringboot is me!

Part of the wolf man's efforts to metropolize Incenseorder, but old laws(game mechanics) prevent the original city from being built upon so we are developing all the land around it.

Updated  :)

Also there are dfhack commands that allow you to embark on top of cities/structures. Ctrl+A in the current DF version, I'm not sure if it is the same in the old one.

I’m struggling to find the time to play this week with work.

If Maloy is in a position to play this week I’m happy to be bumped down a week or two. If not, I should have more time from Friday.

That makes sense. So populations must have been much higher right after the anti-rapture. I can't make that visible, as Dikbutdagrates save is no longer available. But good to know.

Oh, I'm not sure which save in particular you're looking for. But I was able to restore the one I deleted for turn 152. So that's back up.

I saw you took a turn way back in 2020. Welcome back!

Thanks! I've updated the population graphs based on the data from your save. You can now indeed see the immediate effects right after unrapture. Dwarves and humans both had a large population peak.

Bralbaard, you and Snuko didn't get along very well after I brought you back, so you may have uhh... lost an arm? I wasn't really paying attention, and I wasn't able to find it when I went looking for it out in the woods. So, I hope you like what I did with your flesh! However, we're going to need you to sign up for some kind of an illegal unethical payment plan before we do any further alterations, unfortunately.

You had me confused for a while making me think Bralbaard had somehow lost his arm again. My character has lost so many arms I've lost count, but I'm sure its more than three.
Which made me think of the origin story of ARMOK again .
(Blood for the blood god!)

But I see you were talking about Awi. I think a missing arm is one of the lesser worries for the poor gremlin.
