Religion and Dwarfs Science
« on: March 05, 2020, 12:33:05 am »

I've been compiling a list of my dwarves' believes and the civilization that these Gods belong to and it seems that the dwarves have an equal chance of believing in Gods of other civilizations as in yours. So basically that means that if you wanted a shrine to each God of your civilization, you first need to figure out your civilization's Gods.

Here at Bay12 we excel at Theoretical Biology. Need to know the value of Merbone? Check. Need to know the density of a thrown Fluffy Wambler? Check. Need to know how a walking Mushroom can theoretically talk? Check.

Not much point in building temples to gods who none of your dwarves believe in. If you really wanted to do it for whatever reason, just open Legends and check the list of your civ's god's.

It's also not really an "equal chance", it depends on where the dwarf is originally from geographically. If you check the Adventurer religion choices you'll see that locations closer to human and other dwarf civs are more likely to have been influenced by the gods of that civ.
