Although the creature was already dead, an arrow through the skull would do its job. And with it still recovering from its clash with her Lord, the arrow would find its mark.

Giuseppina's eyes darted around rapidly and nervously as she took in the situation in front of her. She took in the active clash of the battle as the undead aberration monstrosities fought with her current companions and the person she was supposed to be protecting, she took in the light mage behind her, she took in the prince heavily wounded and being subsumed by a tide of horrific abominations in which there was only a small opening.

And Giuseppina really did want to be useful...

With... something that increasingly resembled a battlecry as it went on, Giuseppina charged forward -- leaving her in front of the injured prince.

And then down went her hatchet.
