"Hmm..."

Largo relaxes his stance, resulting in him losing his red-skinned form.

"Eh, whatever, as long as I can take a nap in peace until we arrive."

"Yikes. I've still got plenty of energy, but I don't want to mess with someone with that kind of magical power."

Junius and the Chiefs look to each other, before shrugging and following the lady through to the other carriage.

Nico simply exhales in relief.
"Man, we've been fighting all night. At least we can take a breather for a bit."

Relaxing slightly, Lastelle dismounts and starts moving towards the next carriage.

"Yeah. Largo, want to try cards again, or just take that nap?"

"I really would prefer the nap right now..."
"S-sorry for giving you a rain check."

Even a battle-hardened rough-speaking happy-go-lucky person like Largo can get defeated by social inconveniences. Such is the way of the Oni.

"No worries. Sleep well. I don't think I can sleep after all that..."

Lagata was just about ready to burn a hole through the side of the tram--and with it, more than a few of the newly-arrived runners--when the wave of energy swept through the shift.  When it finally passed, the catgirl was left standing, blinking and slightly frazzled, surrounded by a pile of happily sleeping idiots who until a few moments ago she'd more than happy to set on fire.  All before some cute bespectacled woman--the apparent source of the sleep magic--came out to yell at them.

"...Huh."

" Is this what 'love at first sight' feels like?"

She appeared to consider this for a moment.  Then the alchemist shrugged.

"Well, I'm pretty sure I caught a glimpse of a true soul mate.  But you know what?"

"I still have a test on what I'm pretty sure is officially today, and I'm way too tired to care."

And with that, Lagata followed them off into the next non-destroyed carriage, hoping to find somewhere to actually rest for five minutes.

As the crowd follows the lady through to the other carriage, mercifully, they find that the only other occupants are the woman who had spared them another fight and an attractive, svelte woman in a slinky black dress, sitting beside her.

The hooded woman sat down in a huff, pulling out her crystal tablet and tapping away furiously at it. From the looks of things, she seems to be playing some kind of game involving matching jewels.
"You okay, Bel? Who're these guys?"
"No, Molly. Some jackasses woke me up from the only nap I've had all day. I need at least three naps to function properly, damn it. These goons are the ones who, if they don't play nice, will be sleeping until the cleaning crew comes."

The woman in the black dress, presumably "Molly", looks apologetically at the Warriors and their allies.
"Sorry about her. She....really doesn't like being woken up from naps."

Flopping down into an empty seat, the tiny catgirl murbled incoherently, in a way that suggested she empathized one hundred percent.

Largo simply lies down across a multi-seat in response to Molly.

"Oh, don't worry, miss, I can relate a lot right now..."

And a few seconds later, he started to snore lightly and silently.

Lucy decided right now discretion was called for and took a seat across near Largo. Fishing out her tablet from somewhere inside her clothing, she opened up a drawing app and started surreptitiously sketching the bespectacled woman.

Tomo just shrugs, taking a seat away from the cranky and obviously very powerful mage.
"Man, I don't think I'll be able to sleep at all tonight... It's like one of those movies at this point, where the heroes fight through impossible odds the entire night just to see the sun rise as their journey ends.... It's really exciting, and kind of scary."

Lastelle points the wheelchair spot out for Bowler to stand in and takes a seat herself. She still seems very active, perhaps even anxious, her hands and legs shaking with excitement. Or maybe it's all the energy drinks.

"I don't know, Knuckles, I think it'd be cool if someone had been recording this. I've been on top form tonight. This'll be a great story to tell the next time I want some free drinks."

Nico takes a seat opposite of Tomo.
"Movies? What are those?"

Lucy continued to quietly draw, expanding upon her sketch of Belphy the mysterious woman to include the tram itself. It was starting to resemble the cover of a shoujo manga.
