Xerxe blinked as the giant Oni went down, causing the ground to rumble slightly.

And so fell Lord Perth...

"...You want a fight? Let me show you how to really fight."

Xerxe noted the man who felled his friend employed casual levitation, like many lazy magic users. This left him vulnerable-what you made up for traversal of rough terrain, you lost in the reflexes, and the whip was a perfect weapon to capitalize on that with the proper training. As Xerxe approached on a sprint, he saw a can of energy drink roll in front of him like a gift from the Gods.

It was his favorite brand-Tangerine Demonic Obliteration. A 12-Demon blend of flavors in every can and real Holy Sugar, the label claimed.

Xerxe wastes no time in avenging his unconscious friend. Stepping forward, he casually picks up an energy drink from the gorund.

Tangerine Demonic Obliteration has been the subject of multiple investigations and lawsuits across the countries of Generia, due to allegations that it might include illegal performance-enhancing substances as well as possibly containing illegal black magic. The drink was banned from sporting competitions and is considered a must-have for adventuring groups seeking to operate on night missions, as well as a favorite of adventuring academy students cramming the night before their final exams.

What happens follows in a blur. Owyn finds himself being tripped up by Xerxe's whip, before finding Xerxe's knee meeting his forehead, sending him flying before being hurricane kicked into the nearby lampost, leaving a small dent....

Which, of course, should give you time to restock from the last bits inside the nearby vending machines, catch your breath and figure out what to do next.

Regardless, the fight is over.

Xerxe straightened his stance, ready for more enemies...but they had all given up. Arms up meant no kill.

"Hmph. If this is what passes for heresy these days, I'd have been better off being raised a scholar."

He then walked over to Largo, shaking out the last of his vulnerary.

"...Wake the Fudge up, Oni. We've got a city to upturn."

Action: Xerxe uses his 1/3 vulnerary to revive Largo (expend, remove it from inventory etc) and takes the stamina boost from vending machine 1

Xerxe dumping a vulnerary onto Largo's unconscious face should be enough to wake him up. Luckily, the Staminan offered in the vending machines are somewhat LESS chock-full of illegal substances.

Largo slowly rises up and slaps his cheeks to recalibrate his senses.

"... Heh. Knew I could rely on you grabbing the spotlights for yourselves."
"Would be hella pissed if you couldn't wipe the streets with some drunken bodies, ahahahaha!"

He slams his fists together.

"We definitely missed the last tram, no doubt, but the night is still young. We'll get the boss' sister into safety and Gata will not be too late for her test."
And I'm gonna savour my marinated chicken breasts like there's no tomorrow...

"I guess we're walking. Maybe if we're lucky there's riots going on elsewhere and we can sneak on home."

Tomo watches Xerxe's display of athleticism with raised eyebrows. After a few moments he shrugs, guess he just could always do that. Then he turns to the rest of the hooligans.
"What are you idiots doing? Grab your friends and go harass a group more your speed! I think I saw some kids go down an alley around three streets back!"
Not a lie, but he was also pretty sure that they were that adventurer group made up entirely of revivians that made poorly thought out wishes to regain their youth. He got into a fight with them once, his ankle still had bite marks.
