That last part was mostly Tomo talking, but getting hit in the head with blunt objects tended to cause his mood to sour.

"It's really no shame to lose to your betters. But you really need to put your faith in more than just numbers. Such as your own band of scoundrels' faith in your leadership. Maybe try leading from the front next time to show them that you aren't afraid to fight and don't need to hide behind bodyguards? You really need to make them..."

She performs an aileron roll and slings him towards a soft-looking tree canopy, then lands behind Nigo.

Just as Largo approaches Sango, he got beaten to the punch by Tomo who proceeds to put the Jounin in a flowery mood.

He doesn't even get through his entire spiel before Lastelle wipes the floor with him in about two seconds flat.
