"Hmh? Oh." The young man reaches up, turning it off and popping it free with a 'plop' of a suction cup. He extends it out to you, but what draws your attention is the multiple thin lines, filled with reddish-blue filaments that the machine hid. The extend out with every breath. Reaching down, he opens up his shirt, revealing a wetsuit apparatus of the same variety, but beneath it is more of those lines, stretching across his ribs and lungs. When he exhales a sigh, the filaments extend out from those slits, like feathers. "I've a baseline respiratory system too, so I can breathe normally without it, but..." He pauses, considering an equivalent, "Breath only through your mouth for twelve hours. Ain't fun." He zips the suit up, adjusting his shirt, and slips the collar back on. "We lived close to the surface on our old world, but some of my people live deep, deep down -- don't even have lungs anymore, they don't."

"I'll take it -- but do you mind if I look through more of your wares?"

He nods, helping you carry it back to the armory, following you as you wander. I think William is physically stronger than me -- maybe I should give him that gun...or get him or Eric some neat toys...

"Do you have armor?"

"Aye -- only carapace grade, though." The young man pauses when you look confused, "A super-composite. Light. Can take about two las-gun shots before they degrade. Comes with oxygen systems, critical support functions, radio...full suite of toys. Void sealed, too. We don't normally fight on the ground, to be honest."

"Minor, chained. Notices when the air is bad, or applies a tourniquet and pain meds. Compass. Not smart enough to hold a conversation but smart enough to keep you alive."

"Not here. But we've about a thousand or so, of those, we can only lease about two to three hundred, at a...let's say, fifty credits per diem. A few go missing is fine, but for larger numbers we need accountability and a contract."
